Q: Can you use it moist? How does this work? Do you just get it wet?

A: No. You can unplug the cord the wash the cover but you cannot use the heating pad with water.

Q: A picture for this product shows water being sprayed on the pad. There are pads that can be moistened like this. Can the Pure Relief XL be sprayed with water for moist heat?

This is nice-to-have in the winter, but doesn't get hot enough to penetrate sore muscles. I can't really see a difference between low and high settings, either.

Excellent! The state is highly adjustable and removable. The range of heat settings is pretty accurate and the overall size works well. Really good touch to have slightly weighted shoulders for o keep them in place

I was in a car accident and was told by the therapist to buy this for in between sessions. It was the best purchase I made. I love the weighted part on the shoulder's. It allows for the heat to radiate with an equal distribution. I would recommend this for a “ just because” purchase. Use it to just relax and give your muscles a spa day anytime. Amy J

Doesn’t give much heat to the neck area. Inconsistent heating. Very rough touch for the massage. Lastly, and most important- can only use with power. No way to charge and relax. Has to sit by an outlet

very inconsistent in if it works or not. at first it heats up nicely on warm or low, but that only lasts about 10 minute, then it cools rapidly. if you unplug it and plug it pack in it will work again for about 10 more minutes. it also doesnt heat all the way out to the edges.

Perfect for those days I spend typing on my laptop in various settings, some my arthritic shoulders are killing me by the end of the day. I have spent so much money on various heating pads & massager things through the years & I had yet to find something that heated up that wrapped around my neck & shoulder area. This has been perfect for me. It has a magnet clasp that keeps it from slipping off my shoulders and it also has an optional belt that can be used to make it fit tightly around the waist. I'm 5'10" & wear a size medium top and it is a perfect fit for my body. My husband is the same height and wears a 2XL men's shirt and it's too small for him to be able to cover his neck & shoulders therefore the magnets can't get close enough to keep the pad secured. I liked it so much I just ordered 5 more - 1 for each of my co-workers who do the same type of work I do - lol, we're always complaining about how much we ache at the end of the day. I like that it has a plug instead of having to worry about keeping it charged. The cord is quite long, the pad is soft & maintains it shape. It's not heavy but yet it's heavy enough to keep it hanging down and close to my back. The only negative I can say is that I wish it was longer so that it would cover my neck & shoulders all the way down to my low back area but that's just because I'm tall at 5'10" but since my shoulders are the reason I bought it, I'm quite happy with that - if my low back area needs it, I can just use it like a traditional heating pad. I haven't had the need to wash it yet but the instructions indicated that it's washable. I also liked that it has 4 different heat settings.

I picked this up because my shoulder and lower back had been bothering me after pulling a muscle at work, literally (unfortunately) on my drive home from picking up my drive up order I was rear ended. This has been and absolute life saver with my back pain since.

Inconsistent. It worked well the first few times of using it, then it stopped heating up. And when it would heat up, only the back portion would get warm, the overlapping shoulder area didn't heat up. Waste of $50!

Heat is very inconsistent. Sometimes it is the temperature you desire, other times you can barely feel it, and both times it will be set at the same level. The neck and shoulder area are not heating anymore, either. I haven’t even had this 2 weeks.
