Solid frame and easy to install my hot tub is on the smaller side so I needed to trim some of the material but it was easy to do and the cuts are hidden within the other cross piece. The hydraulic assist works great and the locking mechanism is a nice addition. It can also be swapped to the other side if needed which I had to do as well based on how my hot tub sits in the room.
