Q: Will these work in a Cold Tub of about 50 gal of water? I see it’s 2 tablets per 10,000 gallons so I don’t know if it would work correctly or not. I wouldn’t want to overpower the water with too much chlorine.

Powder everywhere in the cardboard box it was shipped in. You open it up and immediately breathe it in. I was coughing and could hardly breathe. Definitely make sure you open outside and wear gloves when touching the tablets. Also the plastic container it comes in was kind of hard to open, you have to tear off the tabs on the sides and when you do the powder just goes everywhere into the air again. As for the product, a couple tablets were broken but I don't mind that. The packaging is unnecessarily large, it comes in a big container and the tablets don't even fill half of it.

Broken into pieces and powder! Target wouldn’t replace until I returned, however we couldn’t because we had to use for our pool. We used 1 solid tablet and broke pieces . The powder which probably equaled and entire tablet, will be thrown out.

There are only 10 tablets in the box, the size of the box would make you think otherwise… most of the the tablets are also broken or chipped, probably because the box gets tossed around likes rag doll and since there of barely anything in there, all the tablets bang around inside the box and break against one another.

I am not a pool maintenance expert, but over the years, with the help of Clorox products, i have been able to keep my pool crystal clear, algae free and at safe chemical levels for all who swim in my pool. The extra Blue 3" Clorinating tablets allow me to have sparkling water and keep it from having algae. The product works fantastic and is especially great during rainy season because it continues to chlorinate the water and kill algae. I am unable to lift the heavy jugs of chlorine, so these tablets are so easy for me to use. I have been using this product ever since I moved to Florida and have always had excellent results. I highly recommend it.
