The huge label on the lid is far too large and difficult to remove. Pyrex says to soak in cooking oil to remove. Why not make the label easy to remove, or use a paper insert, so I don’t have to apply cooking oil that I then have to wash off.

Just what I needed for my meal prep. I like that these lids don’t have a rubber ring to wash on the inside. Good for casseroles or large amount of leftovers but not soup. This is for family of 3-4.

Okay, the label is horrible, but of the many I bought I was able to pull 4 off cleanly. The others I just used goo gone and they’re all better! Into the dishwasher and ready to be used with is beautiful lid 🤗 Use GooGone, the sticker isnt the end of the world! lol

Could not remove the label writing after I carefully removed the label. So time consuming and really Pyrex? Don’t say you didn’t know about this defect.

Hello Villa! We are sorry to learn about the experience you had while trying to remove the label from your product. We recommend using cooking oil to help remove the label. To do so, spread cooking oil over the area and let sit for at least an hour. The oil will loosen the label. Once removed, wash with hot soapy water.

I love my glass Pyrex containers. I had no issue removing the label. You just have to peel it off slow and it comes off fine. These are great quality and I love the size ranges and colors.

I was so excited for my new containers. All the other sizes were wrapped in plastic with the label on the plastic. Not with the 11cup though, it was stuck straight on the lid. I peeled it off and it ripped so I soaked it in water and it did nothing. The ink was transferred onto the lid itself. I was ready to return it but then read reviews and someone said put peanut butter on it. It works! Annoying to have to do but voila!

Like the other reviews say, the label is impossible to remove. I’ve been working at it for 3 days and there’s still sticky residue and remnants of the text on the lid. These are my favorite storage containers but not worth it for the the difficulty.

The paper label is TERRIBLE to get off of the lid. I purchased this container to take food items to others, but it’s shameful looking. Waste of $10. Even once the label is removed, the writing seems to have soaked through and onto the plastic lid. I have always liked Pyrex products, but I will probably avoid them now.

The sticker on the lid does not come off. After scrubbing and then using some oil and baking soda, it finally started to come off. I don't know if this is purely a Target issue or Pyrex because I've never had this issue.

With negative reviews, was a bit skeptical but it's great as other pyrex products. The size is great for freezing baked goods. Was able to peel off the labels no problem, just slow and patient and no residue.

I love Pyrex and the color of the lid…but my gosh. This label is really bad. I used water to remove the torn part, but it left writing on the lid. I let it soak for about 10 minutes and then spread a thin layer of peanut butter and used a butter knife to scrape it. It all came off easily then, but I have other hobbies I enjoy more than removing labels haha. Please stop using these labels!

The label left text dyed into the lid that I can't get off no matter how much I try to soak or scrape it. I scratched the lid and messed up my nails in the process. The label ruined what would otherwise be a perfectly good item. Now I get to go back to target to return this and there's more waste in our landfills.
