For Food Storage, NOT Baking! Great Size! Best Price!
As it very clearly states in the inserted directions, this Pyrex dish is for food storage and microwave use only, not stove. So if you are reading the negative reviews by people who cracked their dish by putting it in the oven, dismiss them because that it not the intended purpose. This is a great size for larger left-overs (11 cups). Also, Target has the best price around on this particular dish! I saw it for twice the price elsewhere.

Not the same quality as older pyrex
Not like they used to be. We have used Pyrex brand glassware for decades. I purchased three of these large storage containers to replace our old ones. Unfortunately the lids are disappointing. They are difficult to put on and do not seal well. A corner will pop up or a side will buckle and let air in. I would not purchase these. This brand is not what it use to be.

Mine shattered too
Was making ribs, had to add a little water and when I did, the entire dish shattered just like others that have written reviews on here. I never took pictures because I felt it was my fault for adding some water during the cooking process which I thought was ok as the temp was only at 225. Buyer beware, it was a heck of a mess and our dinner was ruined as well.

Perfect for meal prep or atoring leftovers
It functions exactly as it should.. for food storage. This is not a pan, pans are metal. This is not a baking pan dish. This is a food storage container. It is meant to store food in. You can reheat food in this dish in a microwave. You should not pour heated liquid into this dish. You should not run hot water over this dish immediately out of the refrigerator. Room temperature liquid will not shatter this dish, make sure any liquid is COMPLETELY cooled before putting it in this dish. Do not add liquids to this dish after it has been heated. Research thermal shock before using this dish. I love these food storage containers. They are perfect to store leftovers in, or to use for meal prep. I have replaced all plastic food storage containers with these pyrex glass containers. They work great. Haven’t had a single one shatter.

Shattered dreams of meal prep
I bought two, one shattered for no reason and the other has a very sharp edge. I was ladling warm stew into room temperature pyrex and it exploded in my hand shooting shattered glass and stew all over me, the stove and into the pot. 9 quarts of stew ruined. It was a huge mess and very costly. Quality has gone way down and they are no longer safe.
