Description
Qdos Lower Drawer/Door Adhesive Latches are the only Latches that meet the new European Standard requiring a Consistent Safe Opening size to keep kids’ hands out! The Qdos SureCatch™ circle design combines a patented dual depth catch and two different latch arm lengths (one for directly under countertops and one for all other drawers and cabinet doors) to create a consistent safe opening gap every time. Q: Do these stop the drawer from being closed again on a child’s finger after they’ve opened it and it’s been caught by the latch?

A: Hello! Yes, once the drawer has been opened, the latch has to be depressed again to close so your child's finger can not get squished. Let us know if you have any other questions!

DONT BUY. All of the good reviews are from paid promotions. These are garbage. There’s no video to watch for install on YouTube or anything and the instructions are completely useless, they depict some of their other drawer latch products and the steps aren’t in order. GARBAGE.

These were the best solution we found for locking the drawers without needing screws. Install was simple, however, the gap between our drawer box and the cabinet frame is so small that this system did not allow the drawers to close all the way. We were willing to put up with this, but after less than a week these are coming unstuck. I will continue to reinstall with 3M mounting tape until we can find a better solution. These latches had promise, but overall are very disappointing.

I got these child proof latches for drawers in my kitchen because I have a one year old that constantly opens all the drawers in the kitchen. These latches were very simple to install and work great. The Qdos safety latches are so easy to install and they are not lying when they say 2 minute installation. It really doesn’t even take that long after the first one. I really like the part where no tools are required!! They all just use very durable adhesive strips that really stick. They are made of very good quality plastic so they feel like they will last a very long time. They are easy for a adult to use but great latching so toddlers can’t open them. Qdos SureCatch LOWER Drawer Adhesive Latches make my kitchen safeguarded from even the smallest hands as there are no gaps to allow small hands to slide in. They install easily with no tools needed and no need to remove the drawers. I recommend these in the kitchen, bedrooms and bathroom to ensure all young kids and animals remain safe. You may not have anything in the drawers that are unsafe but kids like you climb and these latches will prevent kids from using the drawers as steps to climb up. As a member of Bazaarvoice and TryItSampling I received for free a six pack of Qdos SureCatch Adhesive Latches to sample and give my honest feedback on. I had tried several different latches before but could not find any that would work. When I got these I was a little worried at first but after we got them on and saw how smoothly they worked I was very pleased. Qdos latches install with adhesive unlike traditional latches that require you to remove drawers from cabinets to drill and screw in the latch. I didn't have to remove the drawer or any items that were in it to install these latches. The latches are molded plastic white in color, and do not feel flimsy. There are no tools involved to install. The enclosed installation tool guide has both vertical and horizontal lining up positions on it. Once I had the latch exactly positioned where I wanted it, I peeled the backing off the adhesive and pressed it firmly into place. Its nice to be able to turn my back while I'm in the kitchen with my toddlers and not worry about them getting into a drawer and removing items or closing a drawer on their fingers. I have been needing these since my nephew has learned to walk. My home is not child proof especially in the kitchen. I made sure to get the 6pack just to make sure I had enough. I love how so easy I was able to place in the drawers. The adhesive made it even easier, just unpeel and stick to the inside of the drawer. Making sure the latch is up high enough to catch the top of the drawer. If you have a little one that loves to play in the kitchen, these are a must have.
