Description
Qdos Top Drawer/Door Adhesive Latches are the only Latches that meet the new European Standard requiring a Consistent Safe Opening size to keep kids’ hands out! Other latches create openings that are too big and unsafe, leaving room for small hands to reach into drawers and cabinets. The Qdos SureCatch™ circle design combine a patented dual depth catch and two different latch arm lengths (one for directly under countertops and one for all other drawers and cabinet doors) to create a consistent safe opening gap every time. Patented design uses a circle rather than a hook, which makes it easier to catch and lock to keep your little ones safe. Lining up the catch and the arm can be tricky, but not with the Qdos Perfect-Installation Tool! It takes all the guesswork out of the installation and helps you get it right the first time. So happy I purchased these! I tried about every other brand and none of them worked for my kitchen cabinets that have different size depths. These are perfect because they are adjustable for three different sizes. I almost gave up and bought the ugly outside cabinet ones but glad I tried these first. I do think that the opening is kind of large, but hoping this keeps my toddler from getting into the drawer items.

Easy enough to install, however, my 18 month old can still reach in drawers and pull things of certain sizes out :/ Also the adhesive seems to be wearing out on a couple of them. At least he doesn’t have complete access.

After installing this item with the adhesive on my drawers the adhesive did not hold. So if you don't mind drilling into your cabinets then these would be ok for you. If you however like me do not want to drill into your cabinets the adhesive is too weak to hold.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got the drawer latches a few weeks ago. The installation was super easy as long as you follow the instructions. The latch itself doesn't take much space at all. I do recommend this product to protect your little ones. The only thing is that my daughter is 4 years old and has already figured out how to open the drawer even with the latch on. It does give her a little bit of a challenge but she does figure it out. I even put one on the cupboard drawer door. I works beautifully. I will be getting a few more packs for the rest of the house. I would recommend them.

I feel like the instructions are not presented very well. They are confusing to me. I like that they are adhesive as to not put holes in my drawers but not sure if they are strong enough to keep toddlers out of unsafe drawers.

They are streamline and do not take up a lot of room inside of the drawer which is also a big positive. I would recommend this product to anyone who is looking to securely lock a top drawer.

I put them around the kitchen cabinets and pantry area hopefully they can keep my little kids out of the snacks. They do make you work more to open the drawers but the safety from them pays off.

It had become a daily struggle. We are extremely pleased that we finally found the solution. These drawer latches are the best! They are durable, easy to install and ever so convenient with a rambunctious toddler. The adhesive is extremely strong and durable. My husband gave it quite the tug and it didn’t budge at all! The product itself is well hidden within the drawer when closed and therefore does not leave any unsightly sights on our cabinets which is nice! The installation took no time and honestly was ever so easy! This product really goes above and beyond. We will be purchasing more to place in other areas of our home. As well as recommending to all of our friends and family with young little ones. Can’t go wrong with this purchase!
