Q: Are these bags store drop off recyclable? It used to state that on the box, but the new box I bought no longer has the recycle symbol for store drop off.

A: Not unless you want to have all kinds of chemicals leach into your food. Plastic bags are made from petroleum and it takes all kinds of chemicals to make them soft and pliable.

A: Hi flvegan - We're glad you asked! All of our food storage bags are tested by a 3rd party using the following leakage test criteria: Zip-lock leakage - Fill bag with water to 50% of bag capacity. Invert bag upside down and check for leakage. Our quality assurance team confirmed our bags have never failed this test to date, so they should be leak-resistant. Hope this helps! - Gao

Ultimately, they’re good for storing leftover veggies or dried items but if you’re planning on using them in the freezer, they will not keep the freezer air out. They split at the seams and let air in.

They redesigned the style of how the "teeth" or tracks close. It's very narrow now, so you have to line the 2 sides of the bag just right to make it close fully and takes triple the time. Not buying them again.
