A: You sign up through Quip which buyer beware has zero phone support, & ridiculously bad customer service. Good luck if you have any issues on your credit card transactions etc.

A: Our standard quip Sonic Toothbrushes are powered by a AAA battery that can be swapped out every 3 months with your Brush Head. We do offer Rechargeable Sonic Toothbrushes, however, and if you opt for one of those, a Magnetic Charging Cable will be included with your purchase.

A: We're sorry to hear that you're having trouble. You can remove your brush head by gripping the head and handle in opposite hands, bristles facing away from you. Place your thumb on the dots, then gently pull the head off in a slight arc motion (don’t snap it directly backwards). If you're still having trouble, get in touch at www.getquip.com/pages/faq

A: The quip Kids Electric Toothbrush contains a Small Brush Head and a rubber handle for easier grip, so this may be a good option for you. However, our Brush Heads are compatible with all handles we offer, so you can use a Small Brush Head on any of our Standard Electric Toothbrush options if preferred.

The battery in this died within the first week. I replaced it with a new one and it also immediately died. When I went to replace that one, the inside was all wet. This is the second of these toothbrushes that I’ve had this issue with. Not attempting again. Also the refills are absurdly overpriced and it’s very difficult to find the replacement heads for the kids size in a store.

This toothbrush, though inexpensive, is not worth it. I bought both my husband and I one and each of them lasted maybe 3 months. The refill heads are hard to get one and off cause them to crack. The battery does not last long. And now they just flat out don’t function. I would not recommend this product.

I bought this back in Oct ‘24 and it was great up until the battery died a couple of weeks back because once I replaced the battery, it hasn’t operated the same. It turns on randomly and when I try to brush my teeth with it and want it to work, it won’t. It may turn on for a few seconds then turns off again… I figured out that it’s the internal clip that’s supposed to hold the battery in place isn’t “clipping” back securely no matter how hard I try to do so. Please do better and correct that issue Quip. It’s disappointing to have such a decent toothbrush end up becoming one-time use after the initial battery dies.

The head is impossible to remove. I didn’t see that this was one that used a battery instead of a charge and it did not last at all. I was also disappointed that this one wasn’t the Bluetooth ones that hooks to the app. My bad for not reading. I did go and get the next version up. I might as well just face up on quip. This one never would pair with my Bluetooth but I kept it just for being recharging. Well about 2 weeks after I threw the box and receipt away it quit charging. I could get it to the position that the charging light was on and 3 minutes later it would be off and it never charged again. Pretty much a piece of trash. Yes it can remind you by sending out new brusheads but that’s for them to make more money. What a shame it was a cute idea just a miss for me.

Don’t purchase!!! Listen to the reviews. Not worth the risk. Stops working after the first week or two. Changing the battery does not solve the problem. Basically $20 for a manual toothbrush, put your money elsewhere.

My fiancé and I switched to Quip about two years ago. We both had to buy new quips, buying about one a year, because they do not last. Something always goes wrong with the motor, where eventually it won’t matter if you have a new battery or not it will not work. We liked the brand, but once our current ones stop working- we’re not rebuying.

I loved the travel case it came with and loved the idea of the timer and vibration. However, I have used this toothbrush for only a little over three months (the battery died before the three months), AND when I went to the dentist my lovely hygienist pretty much asked me if I was brushing my teeth. Obviously I do, but we got onto my toothbrush where she mentioned she often sees a buildup and it is common with these toothbrushes and she is not surprised at all.
