Description
Remove plaque and experience a deep, effective clean with Sonicare technology, removing up to 7x more plaque vs. a manual toothbrush. Sonicare technology gently pulses water between your teeth, for a month's worth of manual brushing in just 2 minutes. The QuadPacer lets you know when you've spent the optimal amount of time on each section of your mouth while the SmarTimer signals when your 2 minutes is up. The pressure sensor flashes red to remind you to ease off, helping to prevent gum recession, while the 2 intensity settings ensure a comfortable clean that’s right for you. Going electric might feel like a big step, but with this brush you’re in safe hands. Its slim ergonomic design and familiar-shaped head gives you everything you need for an effective clean. The kit includes 1 Philips Sonicare 4100 electric toothbrush, 1 Optimal Plaque Control (C2) brush head and 1 USB charging cable (wall adaptor not included).

very nice tooth brush

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I switched from an Oral-B and appreciate how gentle this toothbrush is. It seems to clean well, but I'll check with my hygienist next time. However, it's frustratingly slippery and often falls out of my hands while brushing. I wish the plastic had a bit of grip instead of being so sleek.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like my new tooth brush. I like that it’s pink so my husband who has memory loss will remember it’s mine. I also love the way my teeth feel, so clean. It’s a good product to help take care of my teeth. I also love that it stops when I’ve brush so long.

Terrible Longevity - Barely Last a Year

Between 2003 and 2022, I went through three electric toothbrushes - one Oral B and two Sonicare. If you do the math, the average lifespan of each of those was over six years. When my last one died in December 2022, I ordered this one as a replacement. Shortly after, my husband's did the same thing, so I ordered him one as well. By November 2023, both of our toothbrushes had completely stopped working, so I reorded this same 4100 model for both of us as replacements. Here we are, March 2025, and mine bites the dust again. The cheaper model is exactly that - CHEAP. Yes, it works well at cleaning teeth (when it is working), but don't expect it to last more than a year. If you are trying to save money, it actually makes way more sense to buy the 6100 when you consider the longevity of the product.
Great... while it lasts

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I LOVE LOVE LOVE it! I've been using Sonicare for years, and the 4100 is the best ever. It is lighter weight, easier to control, an easier size to get to all parts of my mouth, and it's QUIET. All that and I still get my timer and quadpacer. And it uses the standard brush heads. Couldn't be any better! Thank you!
Excellent!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I started with Sonicare toothbrush since they were first introduced. I believe that it has more than saved my teeth and gums in the time I have used it. In all that time, I have only had to buy another once. I like this new version as it's not as fat as the original and so far works great

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve had several electric toothbrushes and the Sonicare 4100 is the best by far. It’s quiet, comfortable, and makes my teeth feel very clean. I can’t wait for my next cleaning because I know my dentist will be pleased !
No Wall Charger

Mr T2 - 11 days ago, Verified purchaser
The geniuses at Sonicare decided not to include a wall charger with their product but a charger with a USB plugin that you must plug in to a USB wall charger. Incredibly bad idea. If I had known this, I would have never bought this product! Why would I want to have to have a separate USB wall charger to use an electric toothbrush???
Newly flimsy! Seek an alternative.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm sorely disappointed in this toothbrush. I bought it to replace a 1st generation Sonicare toothbrush that finally died after many years of use. The new brush is WAY too light and has no stability and so it sends a good dose of vibration into your hand and wrist which is VERY UNPLEASANT. Because of this chintzy new design, I hesitate to use the new Sonicare with regularity.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This 7 is far superior than my last two. Your past models allowed water into the brush head causing mold. This 4100 model has a sealed brush head which stays clean. Much better design.

My dentist noticed how bad this brush was within one 6 month period, compared to my old Oral B one. Wish I could return it, but Target won't let me.
