I found that the chalk was pretty hard to apply to the dolls hair, I love the concept, though, and I like how it's washable so you can re-style her hair all over again.

They were filled with excited to color the hair with the chalk, but shared it didn’t really work that well. Both my 7 and 11 year old said the exact same thing. Luckily, my youngest enjoys dolls and likes doing different hairstyles.

My daughter was so excited and enjoyed playing with the doll as is before adding any color to her hair. She loves this doll and carries it everywhere! My daughter absolutely loved coloring the hair and changing the color multiple times. The only downfall is that you do have to press the chalk, a little bit harder and firmer than expected. It’s a great doll overall!

My daughter couldn’t even get it to show up and I hardly could myself. Doll alone gets 4 stars, hair chalk gets zero lol
