Rainbow Kids' Projection Light - Pillowfort™: Multicolored LED Nightlight for Kids, Battery-Powered, Ages 8+

Overall it’s a good light but definitely needs better battery life. It’s a usb charger but it lasts maybe 2 nights and you have to recharge it again. It’s not a projector light like some thought, it just changes color on the back and gives off a good amount of light too. My 5 and 7 yr old enjoy it, when it works.

hbhhWe brought this light for our toddler who is afraid of the dark now, thinking that is will project light onto the wall or images onto the ceiling. It doesn't! In fact, it barely lights the area surrounding it. It will be going back on Monday!

Great light! Has a timer, too. I wanted to use as a nightlight in my toddler’s room but the battery drains quickly- doesn’t last through the night and needs to be plugged in daily to recharge. Still cute, and tiny but mighty light.

I purchased this item assuming it would project light onto the ceiling. The back ofbthe packaging has lots of small vector images which vaguely implies those images might be what's projected on a wall or ceiling in a dark room. This light provides a faint color night light glow and, aside from having a timer and being rechargeable, has no reasonable features ti imply it's a light projector. I puchased it, tried it and returned it.

Very faint light, not suitable for a toddler or small child's nightlight

I didn’t realize this is cordless and rechargeable so this actually became our travel nightlight! Electrical plugs are so unpredictable in hotel rooms so this works perfectly since it can be placed anywhere. My daughter associates this with bed time so it makes her feel comfortable to see this when we travel.

Was really excited for this night, right however, when I got it home and went to get up, it does not light the room that much as only a small portion of the rainbow lights up. This does not work for our family, my kids are terrified of the dark

This is the cutest little light. It changes colors, is easy to turn on and off. It doesnt really project in the room, but will in on her bookshelf. It plus in to charge. It doesnt stay charged for long. It does have a timer on it to shut off which helps save the bsttery life. It is light weight and easy to move around.

The Rainbow Kids' Projection Light from the Pillowfort collection is cute pairs well with my daughter's rainbow Pillowfort bedding. However, I would not classify this as a "projection" light, as it doesn't project much light at all. It's easy to unbox/ set up, has a 15 minute & 60 minute timer, has multiple colors you can select from or have it color changing. When I read "projection light", I expected it to project onto the ceiling or wall. It produces colored lights but does not project more than a 24" or so beyond the rainbow itself. I do like that it can be plugged in for recharging.

This rainbow light has lots of features packed into its small frame. It has lots of color options: you can choose your favorite or have it cycle slowly through the rainbow. Timers allow you to set it and not worry about it running until it the batteries die. The batteries are internal and it becomes portable once charged. With all these features this light is great for toddlers and up. Whether you use it as a night light, a fun way to add whimsy to decor, or as a toy for the kids to get creative with, this will do it all.

This is such a cute light for a kid’s room! You can change the color between a few solid colors or there’s also a couple setting where it will fade from one color to the next. The light itself is pretty bright in a dark room. Since this is called a projection light, I was expecting it to shine a rainbow up onto the ceiling, but it is only different colors. The part that lights up is at the back too, the rainbow does not light up. I like that is rechargeable vs using regular batteries and the charging USB cable seems very sturdy. It charges fairly quick too.

I received these products for free from the Hey, Bullseye™ sampling program in exchange for my honest review. This is a nice light for a child's room, but there are a couple of things I don't like. It only comes with a USB charging cord and there's no outlet attached, so you need to connect it to a plug or have an outlet with a USB slot. I wish there was a battery option. The colors are ok, but the room needs to be pretty dark to get a full effect. I wish the colors of the painted rainbow on the front were brighter; they're more muted and neutral. It has three options for a timer, 15 min, 60 min or no timer.

Calling this a "projection" light is obsurd. It functions like a faint nightlight in a dark room and is not all worth the money.

It projects the switching rainbow colors on walls or ceiling and is easy to operate. It has a color changing mode, a timer and an on/off switch. It also comes with a charging cord. The colors are subtle and perfect for getting my kids in a calm sleep mode at night!

This projection light worked perfect for my girls room. I love how it's rechargeable and runs without having to be plugged in. It's lightweight and can easily be moved around the room. It has a timer or can be on all night. I love how you can press the button to change it to any color of the rainbow!

This light is adorable. Its pretty small and would fit nicely on a nightstand. I love the color changing option on it and that you can set it to a timer so its not on all night long. I would say its not very bright so if a child prefers a closet light, they might still need that. It comes with a charger so you can charge it leave it plugged in. The price point is great and would look so cute in a little girls bedroom.
