Batteries were opened and spilled out and rolling around inside the bottom of the box! Very disappointed.

I use these in all my trail cameras that I place in the woods for wildlife viewing and they work great. Long lasting great price and much better than the so called leading brands. Highly recommend.

Rayovac batteries are mid tier in price, but high in quality. I had always thought they were cheap, until I bought a pack of AA’s for our remotes. They are easy to find and are available everywhere. They last much longer than the more expensive ones we had been using for years. We thought batteries weren’t supposed to last long. Their best feature by far though is that there isn’t any rusting around the terminals in my devices because these batteries do not leak acid.
Power Up: A Quick Review of Rayovac’s 8-Pack Batteries

I recently picked up an 8-pack of Rayovac batteries, and I must say, they exceeded my expectations. The packaging was incredibly easy to open, which is always a plus when you’re in a hurry. These batteries have been powering my non-high energy devices, like remote controls and wall clocks, for quite some time now, and they show no signs of slowing down. If you’re looking for reliable, long-lasting batteries, Rayovac’s 8-pack is a solid choice.

I switched from those Copper Top people to Rayovac years ago after getting tired of losing vital equipment to my job as a firefighter to batteries that leak and damage destroy that equipment just when you need it most. Have always been happy with Rayovac until about a year ago when I started experiencing the same problems with Rayovac batteries leaking and damaging/destroying my personal equipment since I am now retired. Just found another set of "fresh" batteries had leaked in a high end LED flashlight I recently purchased, leaving me with the mess of trying to counteract the alkaline leakage with vinegar and hoping the flashlight isn't ruined. I have had this happen no less than 4 times to my equipement in the past 6 months. What Happened? Did the Copper Top guys buy Rayovac out??

I purchased two boxes (30 each) of AA and AAA. Even as soon as we opened the packaging, the alkaline began dripping and flaking out. The couple that appeared to be good, were put into our remotes. They were leaking within a week. Buyer beware. Rayovac is un uncasing, ineffective, poor quality firm and produces a similar product.

I recently had to dispose of 48 of the 60 batteries due to leakage. The batteries had been properly stored and had an expiration date of FEB29. The batteries leaked 5 years before the expiration date.

Horrible Leaks

Rayovac High Energy 0522DA6 nearly ruined my flashlight. Just last week I replaced old with six new Rayovac batteries. Yesterday, the light was failing, and when opened, two batteries had failed and leaked. Given the quick discovery of this battery failure, a through vinegar cleaning appears to have saved the flashlight. Also, last week I bought your 30 pack Fusion battery, 0822FFN, but will likely trash those new batteries, given the leak and potential damage to devices now using Rayovac batteries. I trusted Rayovac, and that trust is now gone.

These are about mid range in price as far as batteries go and they have lasted in our devices for awhile. It's kinda hard to rate a battery unless they stink so... yea... decent batteries.

I've been buying all the major brands of alkaline cells for years. I've found that overall, Rayovac are least likely to leak. They seem to last as long as other major brands. And best of all, they're made in the USA!

Rayovac AA batteries work really well and keep my remote and other electronics working for a long time. I was very surprised how well the batteries worked. I've been using my remote for my TV for 5 years now and I've only had to change the batteries one time. That shows what a great product this is to hold up even with me using my remote everyday. I will continue to use Rayovac batteries and recommend them to others as well. Rayovac High Energy Alkaline, AA Batteries, 24 Count

Don’t waste your money. During the initial outbreak of the Covid pandemic, I grabbed a pack of these batteries. I initially used some for decor lights. The type used around holidays. This was the extra small type for centerpieces. It only required 2 AA batteries. There were 6 wired bulbs on 6” wires. These batteries were so weak, that they only work d for 4 minutes. It was never able to light it fully. It was very dim for those 4 minutes. I checked the expiration date before purchasing. Just not worth the packaging.
