Razor Ground Force Elite Powered Go Kart - Black/Blue

I should have read the reviews. After approximately 5 hours of my son riding this over 5 days the chain fell off. Razor only warranties the product for 90 days and I bought it 10/24 for a Christmas present so it was 60 days in before my son ever got to ride it. I bought the blue and black one with the chain and the orange one for my other son. That one is faster and there isn’t a chain. Don’t buy the blue one. It’s garbage.

Bought it for my daughter for Christmas.. charged it over night for a little over 12 hours.. took it outside.. turned it on.. pressed the gas and nothing happened. It arrived broken.

I bought a pair of these in Oct of 2023. They have been quite reliable. The only issue I have had is the brakes need adjustment occasionally, they are similar to a 10 speed bike. Other than that, I have had no issues. I recommend these. I wish they were a bit cheaper I would buy a 3rd

I bought this as a Christmas present for my son, I was thiking with it being a Razor brand product the quality was be great. But, the chain started breaking within 2 weeks of my son driving it. Now, he can't ride it for more than 5 minutes without the chain breaking. The Razor brand is replacement chain is not avaialble (probably because everyone is having to purchase it). I have ordered similar prduct and those still don't work. This is a design issue. For paying $600 for a go-kart that is sitting in my garage because it doesn't work is very frustrating! I expected better quality, especially with something as simple as the design with the chain and parts around it.

We bought two of these for Christmas 2023 and my boys love them! Fast forward to the spring and we did experience the chain issue on one of the carts. However, Tech support was super helpful and sent a new chain and it was very easy to replace. For the record 7 & 9 year old boys are driving them and they go 100%. We had two more issues come up and called Tech support back and they resolved them both. Overall these are tons of fun and may have issues, but before you throw in the towel call Tech support as they can probably correct any issues!

Chain popped off the gears in 24hrs, just like everyone said. Disappointing. Not recommending.

It was a blast until the chain popped off- now it won’t stay on. Expensive purchase for 4 month of fun…

Terrible. What a headache! The chain constantly falls off. Random bolts fall off and disconnect wheels. I’ve replaced the tensioner which is only good for a few hours and loosens again. The customer service at razor is a nightmare. These karts are a constant headache. Stay away from this product. I wish I had gotten something else.

Razor is horrible. 90 day warranty from purchase date. Purchased for Christmas 2023 and now end of March my son who rides it rarely not even daily the chain pops off. I put the chain back on and everything's good for about 10-15 seconds then pops off. Razor customer service is a joke. They say there's no parts or part numbers/info for this unit because it's so new and can take 48-72 hours for info but it's so new and not under warranty. So please I would love if razor contacted me under this. Go kart would and could be so great if you have 12month warranty like ANY OTHER eletric company.

Our grandson was very excited about receiving this for Christmas! It ran well on the first try and was alot of fun riding a long circle cement driveway. The second time he rode it the chain constantly falls off and it is not easy to put back on! This is a CONSTANT occurence. For the price of this gocart - it should run reliably. On a smooth driveway free of debris, there is no way it should be disturbed. We will be reaching out for a solution or return. Best to keep looking for a better performing go-cart until they can fix this problem. Something purchased for enjoyment - should not cause constant frustration.

If you looking to buy this item, DONT! charged overnight for about 15 hours, son was able to ride once. parked in garaged went to ride it again 1 hour later and doesn't even turn on. charged again overnight and still doesnt turn on, we will be ruturning and not looking to buy anything from Razor moving foward.

We bought this for Christmas 2023, by beginning of March has stopped working ! Ridiculous and so disappointing!

Bought for Christmas. Was only ride on 5 or 6 times before the chain popped off and a spring or something broke.

Been riding it for 2 months and along with other reviews the chain has broke off. Not worth the price. Very disappointing.

My son loves the scooters it’s a big hit. HOWEVER, the chain keeps falling off every time he rides it. My husband has had to fix it several times. And it’s greasy, messy and time consuming to do so. I called Razor and they are aware of the issue. They want to send us a replacement part but it will take 3-4 weeks to arrive. Not happy!

About a month old now. Within the first two hours the nut/bolt type setup came off that is visibly behind and inside the front wheels and lost the ability to steer. It connects the wheels to the tie rod. Luckily we found the parts and put back on. Recommend you make sure both sides are snug upon receiving. 2 weeks later the chain fell off. Was able to put it back on. Chain tensioner possibly needs a tighter spring since this is a common comment. 3 weeks later the brakes work for first stop, but then fade quickly. I read in manual you can tighten the cable so I will try that. Even with these issues I still give it 5 stars for the fun factor. At 5'11" 175 lbs I was impressed. Sized for 6-8 yos. My 13 yo had knees bent. My knees were pretty high while driving. Highly recommend Razor build a bigger 1 and 2 seat 48V, 1 and 2 seat 60V for bigger drivers and also off-road versions. They would make a killing. Feel free to send my 6 kids and me future versions to test and review!

Got this for my son for Christmas. He's been on it 7 times for a total of around 30 minutes and I've had to fix it 5 times. It's broken again. From the chain breaking and having to wait 2 weeks for a new one, to the chain popping off constantly. I don't have anything nice to say about this product

Daughter loves it. Only had to put the seat wheels and stickers on.

My kids got this for Christmas and are obsessed. Great for adults too!

Very small, 11 yr old who is 4'8 is too big for this.... box says for yrs 13 plus.... NOT TRUE
