A: I'm 250lbs and bought one to ride along side my 4 and 6 year old kids. I get about 8 blocks before the battery level drops off. My kids with me on bike in tow get about 2.5 miles of range at 35 and 50 lbs.

A: It can go on grass but it's designed for pavement and concrete, the tires have no traction, just grip. By design the front tires provide grib and the back tires don't so when you turn hard or let off the gas it starts to drift, hence the name "drift kart". I bought 3 back when they were about 50% off online thx target circle!

submitted byDrifting Away - 6 months agoA: The go-kart is powered by 2x 12v 9Ah lithium ion batteries in series to make 24volts. Each rear wheel is powered by a 775 RS duel ball bearing DC high speed motor rated at (180watts). The gearbox is a genetic Chinese one that's abundantly available online under hundreds of brands because it's again generic. But they are cheap and very easy to replace for $10-15/ each along with the tires which use a universal wheel hub. I'm 250 lbs and 6'6" and this go-kart allows be to follow my 4 & 6 year old for about 8 blocks before it starts to die off on me.

My boy used it on and off for about 3 months before the rear plastic tires finally cracked in half. Both of them. Maybe if you have a completely smooth road the tires would last longer. The manufacturers warranty does not cover the tires. They're $50 to replace. Was an awesome little car but only lasted 3 months:(

This was the absolute best $120 I’ve ever spent on a toy! I got this for my 7yr old daughter and my 20yr old son was spinning circles in the back yard(250lbs 6’2”). Took less than an hour to put together. Do not hesitate to buy this go cart…Oh and it goes pretty fast too

This product was purchased for Christmas and used twice this spring. Target website states 180 warranty on this, Go Trax says that's wrong and it's 90 and will not fix. Terrible customer service from GO Trax and Target. I will ensure I stop buying products from Target and Go Trax for the future because neither company would make this right for a six year old box who just wanted a working go kart. Worst customer service from both companies.

Has a 90 day warranty, was bought for Christmas so it sat hidden for over 30 days, then gifted to my son but it was too cold to use so once it was finally nice enough out he takes it out twice and a motor has disengaged from one wheel rendering the whole thing useless. When it initially broke we were about ten days out of warranty. Now I have to buy a replacement from a better brand. Target should be ashamed for stocking such crap and GoTrax should be ashamed for making it.
Suggestions for children aged four and older.

My son is exceedingly enthusiastic about his go-kart. He has a strong preference for floating in it. It proceeds at a rapid pace. However, we have only owned it for three months, and it is no longer operating at the same rate. He does not ride it frequently due to the frigid weather, and we store it in the garage when he is not using it.

We have owned this item for several weeks, and it initially functioned flawlessly. However, it has since ceased to function altogether. The battery is completely charged; however, it intermittently ceases to function and the red on button blinks rather than remaining stationary.

Oh, my God. My spouse and his oldest son spent 2 1/2 hours assembling this item. They encountered numerous complications when attempting to pass the rod through the rear tires. Once completed, it functions satisfactorily. My son, who is eight years old and stands at a height of four feet ten inches, finds it somewhat uncomfortable to play on the equipment due to his extended legs. It has the ability to reverse and travel at a reasonable pace.

This thing is an absolute blast BUT it stopped working after 2 days. It will no longer drift at all and it will barely move when the pedal is pushed. This is so disappointing and I will absolutely never again ignore bad reviews on a product. This thing will NOT last if you buy it.
