It's just too bad these little bikes don't have better batteries that run for longer than 25 minutes. Which makes it difficult to pay such a price but anything for the kids!!

I bought my son a Razor MX500 and we have had it for a year. He is 13 and its 5,5 and fits comfortably on it. It goes a bit faster than they describe, 16 mph. Also what suprised me is that on one charge it says, "Up to 40 minutes" but I have seen my son use it on a single charge for over 55+ minutes. After a year I have seen no difference, the mx 500 is very reliable and fun to use. My son uses it every day and loves it. It is quiet, pretty fast and looks almost like a dirtbike! I have gotten on it sometimes also and it is pretty fast and fun to use! If you have kids under 14 I would recommend this Razor. Your kids can use it in their backyard, even on the street with no problems because It is electric. It is street legal also which is very nice to have.
Love it

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the perfect beginner bike my 11 year old. It has the look and feel of a gas powered bike without the same risks that go along with them. We've had the bike for a few weeks and here are my initial impressions: - Heavy duty & quality materials: It's made with steel and not cheap plastic, it's definitely built to last. - Weight: The bike is the perfect weight which is around 100 pounds. If you're getting it delivered like I did just be aware it comes in a big, heavy, box. I had no problem bringing it inside but my wife would have had a hard time getting it up the steps. - Assembly: Quick and easy. Comes with everything you need and only took me about 15 minutes to put everything together. - Features: Love the dual suspension! It makes for a more comfortable and safer ride. - Speed: The speeds up to 15mph is just right for my son. If you're not familiar with electric bikes, even adult ebikes, are capped at 20mph in the US (15mph in Europe I think). It has something to do with the law. - Maintenance: Very simple to charge and maintain. If you want it to last, just like any other bike, don't leave it in the rain and rinse it off it gets muddy. - Safety: For additional safety I added lights and a bell. Overall, this is a great bike that my son really loves and that I feel is worth getting.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] What a cool little dirt bike! If you live on a property with a large yard or access to open space, you will love this! My young adult daughter insisted on assembling this herself, and she did, while I watched. Detailed and easy to understand instructions and came with all the tools needed, as well as the charging cord. Just plug, charge and ride! Super quiet, doesn’t tear up the lawn or landscape. Our three dogs love chasing my daughter around in the back yard, which is approximately 1.5 acres. A win - win! Fun and exercise for the dogs! I rode it as well, and it’s super easy to control and the brakes work great. Looking forward to more adventures! Yay!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Oh wow, this bike is so incredible. It is very comfortable to sit on and ride. The rode is very smooth as well. It goes up to 15 mph but a little faster going downhill. Battery lasted almost an hour for me. This is my favorite Razor product yet. They did right with this one I definitely recommend. I am 36 years old and had a blast on this. The controls and brakes were all very easy to use as well. Top notch quality.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently got the MX500 Dirt Bike for my two boys. My oldest son, is 13 and 5’8 so he is definitely on the bigger/older side of the recommended age for the bike. My youngest son is 9 and absolutely loves to ride the bike. He’s the perfect age and size, with plenty of room to grow. I appreciate that the battery lasts longer than the 40 minutes stated. The bike was easy to assemble and came with all necessary tools, so I felt confident in my ability to put it together myself. I definitely think this is the perfect entry dirt bike and couldn’t be more happier with the product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I selected this Razor dirt bike for my grandson, and - gosh, was he surprised. He calls it his “precious motorcycle” and caught on within the first 20 minutes of use! It is a substantial electric powered dirt bike with excellent safety features. Its throttle is easy to use with front and rear handbrakes (adjustable) that stop the bike immediately. The dirt bike does also come to a slow stop by simply releasing the throttle, of which - was a helpful feature as my grandson got his bearings learning to maneuver and ride. Disclaimer: Be cautions to keep your hand off the throttle until you have mounted the bike safely and are ready to ride, it can be sensitive. The bike was easy to assemble and came with all the required tools and necessary parts. Instructions and manual were easy to follow. The kick stand holds the bike firmly in place while charging and is easy to “kick-up” and “kick-down.” This bike is great for both young and old riders, if they know how to handle it properly. The bike is 46.5 x 13.7 x 26 inches large and weighs in at 112 pounds of steel, it is very well made and durable. The motor is a 500-watt high torque electric motor. This bike is powered by a 36V battery which can last up to 40 minutes of ride time before needing to be recharged. The manual indicates the bike needs to plug in and charge for 12 hours to obtain a full battery life; however - we did not find this to be the case. The dirt bike was fully charged within about 2 1/2 hours; moreover - said charge proved to hold up wonderfully without any issues. I especially enjoy the long charging cord, making it easy to charge via either long or short distances to designated electrical outlets. The weight limit is 175 pounds. It can reach the maximum speed of 15 mph, which - is fast! The tires are large and make the ride comfortable riding through our mid Wisconsin winter snow- and ice-covered sidewalks/trails with ease. Puddles were no match either! And, as stated previously - the brakes are very responsive and will make the bike stop immediately. With the overall build of the bike, added shocks and tires - this bike handles both sharp and wide corners with ease. My grandson is excited to continue to master his new “precious motorcycle” (as he calls it… ). The Wisconsin spring and summer will bring great opportunities to ride through the woods, mud, rocks, gravel, puddles and more! Great dirt bike, excellent quality already bringing wonderful fun and memories to our family!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We got this for my son, who is almost 13. He does seem a bit big on it, so I probably wouldn't reccomend it for older kiddos. It was pretty easy to put together, and came with all the tools required. We let it charge for the recommended 12 hours and the battery held up pretty good. It does bog down going up gentle hills, and only seems to have one speed. Overall not bad at all!

Great Dirt Bike for an eager beginner. My son's confidence grew quickly as this Dirt Bike is both easy to ride and easy to handle. Much better quality than I anticipated. Charge holds longer than the 40 minutes anticipated (as stated on the website) and set-up/maintenance could not be easier for a single mom like myself. Very happy with my purchase and would highly recommend to others; I can see why this Dirt Bike is sold out in stores/online.
