Q: Is this bike waterproof? I'm wondering if it can be ridden in the rain.
submitted by D Hart - 5 months ago
A: How much time does battery last
submitted byNeymar - 8 days agoA: No, we do not recommend riding in the rain or snow. Wet, slick, uneven, or rough surfaces may impair traction and stability of the unit. Wet, freezing, or near freezing conditions can also affect the battery life and damage the electrical components.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Outdoor activities are always a fun family affair. My kids are getting older, so I’m always looking for new outdoor games or fun devices for them. This Razor Rambler 12 is super neat. I have an almost 13 year old and he was very excited when seeing this electric scooter. With warmer weather, I’m hoping this will be a popular outdoor activity. Before we used the scooter, I read through the included instructions. I’ve never had an electric scooter before, so I wanted to make sure I read up on it. The instructions are very detailed and easy to understand. I will definitely be keeping the instructions, it has many great tips and maintenance info. One thing I like about this Razor scooter is that it’s electric. I’m easily able to plug it into my regular wall outlet and let it charge. The first charge was the longest, but the other times it only takes a couple hours before we can unplug it and use it again. The battery last up to 40 minutes, which is amazing. The times we’ve used the scooter, we normally don’t run the battery out, so it still has a charge once done. This is rated for 13+, and up to 170 pounds. Unfortunately my husband is slightly above the weight limit, which is sad, but as for my kids and myself we’ll be able to enjoy taking turns riding on it. The scooter’s overall look is sharp. The colors are kind of retro and I really like it. It’s short, but I’m 5’7” and am able to balance and ride on it easily. I’ve never had an electric scooter, so I was hesitant at first about it being difficult to operate. It wasn’t at all that difficult to learn how to stop or get the scooter going. I think with practice my oldest son will eventually get it. The top speed I think is 12 mph, and it surprised me how quickly this scooter speeds up. Overall this is a very fun, outdoor electric scooter. I’m hoping that my family will get many years of use out of this. Definitely recommend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Rambler I 2 from Razor is the best kid can have. That is how my kid described it. Easy to assemble, relatively quick charge and so much fun for my kid and his friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This has been a great addition to my kids’ riding toys. It says for ages 13+, but it’s really a better fit for my 9 year old. If your kids know how to ride a bike, they will take to this easily. Took about two passes to figure out the hand controls and now he zooms around with no problems. It stays charged about an hour and plugs in easily. Assembly was just adding handlebars and charging for 12 hours. No problems at all. Just a fun ride.
So much fun!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this Rambler 12 for my son, and he loves it, and I’m seriously jealous, it looks so much fun! It took 5 minutes to build the bike from the box, really really easy, just 4 bolts for the handle bars, even the tires were pumped up. After a full charge my son was off, it took him no time to figure out the controls. The throttle is smooth so he didn’t have trouble flying off the back, but it’s still got nice acceleration. He’s been getting about an hour or so ride time from each charge. The bike is really sturdy and is made to cope with how kids use it. My son is obsessed with riding this bike, and I love it as it’s fast enough to make him happy and not so fast I panic. I definitely recommend this, its awesome!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 13 year old and his three friends put it together very easily. They charged it over nights and took turns using it right away in the morning. This rambler is awesome! I love the color of it. It goes the perfect speed for them. Super fun to watch them all enjoy it.
More attention than Rambler16..Especially with 84v

This got more attention than the rambler 16 with 84v. Obviously because of size.. but much easier to convert to 84v as it’s chain drive starting. Doing 55mph + is a bit scary with these tires, switching them out and converting the brake to a 4 piston hydraulic brake eases the mind… only for a little. Best part is, I can throw it on the shelf at home when I’m done or back seat when roaming around,.. kinda like a Fido…. Except better.
Fun and excited kid!!!
