The mouthpiece is crafted from FDA food-grade silicone for a safe and comfortable drinking experience, while the inner portion of the straw that sits inside the tumbler is made from BPA/BPS-free polypropylene plastic. Both materials are designed with safety and durability in mind.

A: Thank you so much for your question, Katie. The straw does require a little pierce of the lips on the straw in order to get liquid out. It helps with preventing any leaking.

A: Our proprietary straw has a teeny built-in silicone shield to prevent leaks when on its side or upside down. Happy sipping!
