Q: Ready, Set, Food! Stage 3 has more allergens than the Stage 1 & 2. Does the Stage 3 introduce each of these new allergens individually to gauge reactions or is it all together in every packet?
A: Hi Chris, Our Stage 3 Mix-In with multiple allergens is designed to follow our Stage 1 and 2 sequential allergen introduction system. It is also designed to be introduced at an age when babies are most likely exposed to multiple different foods and allergens at once. This will not introduce the allergens one at a time such as we do in Stage 1. Thank you for your question!

Q: My baby is 11 months old and has been eating solids since 6 months. I have only introduced eggs and avocado and no reactions. I haven’t introduced any other allergens. So I start with stage 1 or do I advance to stage 3? Thank you!
A: We always recommend starting with Stage 1 to provide a one-at-a-time introduction to the top 3 allergens (peanut, egg and milk), which account for ~80% of all childhood food allergies. Then you can move onto any of our Grow or Thrive products, depending on your little one's developmental readiness for different textures, and your personal feeding preferences!

Q: Can I mix the stage 3 packets into a bottle with formula or can it only be mixed into food?
A: Thank you for your question! Our Stage 3 Mix-Ins can only be mixed into food. Our Stage 1 & Stage 2 Mix-Ins can be easily mixed into a bottle with milk or formula, while introducing the top 3 allergens in daily pre-measured packets.
