Q: Do you think it's fun to play with just two people?
submitted by mc - 1 year ago
A: Hello, Thank you for the question! Unfortunately the game does not have a two-player mode as the game is intended for 3-5 players. I hope this helps!
submitted byFunko Product Experet - 1 year agoBrand expertA: That's not true. Many people have played it two players and it works just fine. There's videos on YouTube of it too.

You don't have to be familiar with the move to enjoy this game. My gaming group has played this much more often and had more fun than any of would have expected. Rounds are quick and they support drop in/out play.
Awesome for Hitchcock fans!

This game is so fun and I cannot wait to play it at the next game night I host with friends. The game layout seems easy enough for game play and set up. The theme is perfect for Alfred Hitcock or James Stewart fans. It is a fun twist on a creepy classic.

i've always been a fan of this movie, so when i saw there was a game available, i had to try it! The game itself is beautiful and high quality. The game is a little challenging, but once you work it out, it's a fun game. It takes a little longer than what i typically like a game to last, so make sure you plan for that. You can also watch a video, if you are struggling to figure out the instructions. Sometimes a visual is really helpful!
Fun whodunit, even if you never saw the movie

This is a fun game to play, especially if you like to try and solve mysteries (and who doesn't!). You don't need to have watched the movie to play it either (I haven't watched it and had fun with the game). It is pretty quick to set up and then play. The game is made of quality pieces and the small pieces come in a nice storage container to keep them organized (so helpful!). The only downside is that it takes up a lot of room. So make sure that you have a large area to play on before you get started. This would be a great game to play on game night or for a family get together during the holidays.
Neat concept, too complicated!

The concept is cool. The initial set up is time consuming. My son lost interest before we even started playing. I read the instructions and set up as I read. Way too complicated. I was looking for something along the lines of Clue. Also kind of limiting with needing at least 3 but no more than 5 players. Not for a group game night.

I loved the movie Rear Window by Alfred Hitchcock, so when I saw that they made the movie into a game, I was so excited! The game includes: A director screen, a watcher screen, 4 day boards, a solution board, 4 watcher placards, 70 window cards, 102 tiles, 45 tokens, a trunk Box and 4 wooden cubes and of course, instructions. You can play with 3-5 players, for ages 13+ and the games last around 40 minutes. Every game is a different mystery, and you have to decide if you saw a murder or if the neighbors you're watching are planting ideas in your mind.

This is a fun and engaging game for the family or even a game night with friends. I love mysteries and Rear Window is my favorite Hitchcock movie so I was really excited for this. I wish you could have a few more players but overall it is a good time. I like the style of the players guide.

Pro: 1) The game is very well made and designed. The box and accessories are high quality. Package and game pieces are attractive. 2) Players' guide is easy to read and follow. 3) The game is a lot of fun on a game day or night. Cons: The game is more fun with a group of more than 3 people.

My family loves a classic “who done it” game. Rear window is an upgraded version of this type of game. It takes a little bit to catch on to the play, but once you do it is tons of fun. There was a helpful video to watch if you could scan the QR code In the directions manual, I would recommend that. Overall, this is a fun game for family game night.

We are a family who collects board games, and we really enjoyed the Rear Window board game! It took us a bit to set it up and figure out how to play, but we eventually got the hang of it. I would recommend watching the video, as suggested, as it can be a little confusing just by reading. It wasn’t too difficult that my 13 year old couldn’t play. I’m a sucker for good packaging and this has it. I really appreciate the packaging that neatly holds all the pieces. Speaking of the game pieces, they are beautifully detailed and very sturdy! The pieces are made to last us a long time. Overall, we had a lot of fun, and it’s already become one of our favorites!
Super exciting game!

This board game is quite fun! It is great for multiple players or fine with just a couple. I like being the director. Haha! It is full of suspense and well have you hanging on the edge of your seat. It was packed nicely and stores away just as well. Just a fun time all around!

Rear Window is a fun game that involves deductive reasoning and observing details. The game uses one player as the director, who leaves the clues and cannot speak to the other players that work in cooperation to discover if there is a murder and who committed the crime. Game play took about 40 minutes. This is a game where a different outcome results, making the game different every time it is played. Bonus that the game has great storage for all the smaller pieces, keeping things organized and preventing loss of pieces needed for successful play, as well a QR code in the instruction booklet that offers a "how to play" video. Game is recommended for ages 13+, takes 3+ players, and is a great addition to game nights with friends and family.
Great game.

We just recently moved and played a lot of board games for entertainment. This one was a lot of fun and not hard to understand/play. It had a lot of really great elements that made playing fun for everyone. It also has amazing detail when it comes to the actual board and pieces.
Love it!

This game was a blast for our get together with friends over the weekend. We have something similar to this in our collection and this was nice to have a different storyline/plot added to that category of board games. The various endings help keep the game refreshing and new. The artwork is beautiful and the game pieces feel sturdy enough to last us through years, unless the dog chews through them again(!). While I have not watched the movie, a person in the group did mention that this game is nothing like the original movie. It’ll get a bit use to to understand the game since it requires some thinking and observations from the players. Highly recommend people to watch the recommended video online if first time players get stuck on how to proceed with the game. Or if people are unfamiliar with this kind of game play. It was a very fun detective mystery game!

The initial setting up of the Rear Window Game was somewhat lengthy, due to removing all of the cutout cardboard pieces. Personally, I recommend familiarizing yourself along with other players by viewing the how to play video through the QR code that can be found in the players guide, as I feel this game can be confusing. I do like that the game can produce a different outcome each time its played. Game takes us approximately 30-40 minutes of playing time to complete. Rear Window game is recommended for ages 13+ and can be played with 3-5 players.
