Had potential, but I've seen this plot in 1000 movies. It was way too predictable. There were also a couple major plot holes especially involving the "twist" ending and some other elements of the story were confusing at times. None of the characters were likable, and I just spent most of my time reading this book waiting for it to get better 😫

I would not recommend. The story is misleading when you’re reading the back of the book, I stayed engaged for a little while but I kept getting pulled out of the story with all the unnecessary flashbacks to the passed, and the ending was 100% anticlimactic and confusing, leaving you as the reader not really understanding how it ended. I would not recommend this book
