[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve tried several insulated hoodies from carhart to Sherpa lined Amazon, and this is by far the warmest. It’s warmer than some of my down puffer jackets. Im 6’2 215 lbs and a size medium fits good. Remember this is more workwear loose fit clothing. Only complaint is the hoodie isn’t insulated. I feel like they could have at least put a Sherpa lining in it. Also the hand pocket are very shallow.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] 3. 5/5, but I'll round it up. Pros: - Very, very warm and cozy - Hardy construction Cons: - zipper snags every other inch - weird proportions. Let me get into the weird proportions. The width does NOT match the body length at all. For me at 200lbs even the width was great around the chest and shoulders, but the torso was so long that it's legitimately halfway down my thighs. I hate the torso length so much. Even just 2 or 3 inches shorter in the torso would make a world of difference. It's almost as if nobody actually wore it to try out the fit before they made it. Either way, that's still overshadowed by the absolutely incredible coziness and warmth of it. I've never had a hoodie quite as warm as this. If they could resolve the weird proportion issue and put a better zipper on there then it'd be perfect.

I can't imagine anyone rating this "sweatshirt" anything BUT 5 stars. It's quite literally the best winter garment I've ever had, for a number of reasons. First, it's impervious to cold. Seriously. I live by the ocean in Maryland, and it can be MISERABLE in the winter - below freezing, with icy gales off the water- and wearing this is like having a cheat code. It's full off quirky features, also, such as the thumb hole in the elastic wrist cuff. It keeps your hands covered no matter how you move. And (generally speaking) the measure of anything can be taken in the quality of its weakest link. Usually, that ends up being the zipper. That's always the first thing to fail. And in the 2 years I've worn mine, it's never once had any issue, and it appears that it will outlast the stitching. LOL Lastly, it should be noted that I was surprised to learn that this product was actually billed as a sweatshirt. Yeah, it's soft like a hoodie... but it's so thick and durable, I'd call it a jacket. So If you actually read these reviews, be assured this one isn't planted by the company or filtered. Just my honest impressions on a great product. You won't be disappointed.
