Q: I would want it to turn on/off with the light switch. Will it turn on with the light switch or do I then have to touch the lamp to get it to turn on after turning on the light switch (thus negating the benefit of having the lamp on the switch)?

A: Hi - we haven't tried this before, but we think you would still have to touch the lamps to turn them on after having flipped the light switch on. If you are looking to control the lamps from a light switch you might be better off with non-touch lamps. You would set the lamps in the on socket position, then turn them on with the wall switch control. Thank you for the question.
