[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I feel like this shampoo gets the job done. I have oily hair. This shampoo didn’t feel too heavy. I also did not have to use too much product with each use. It lathers well, and provided a somewhat “squeaky clean” feel. I’m just glad it doesn’t leave any weird residue or feeling to the hair. My hair definitely looks shinier after I blow dry it. These bottles will last me a long time!!

My husband brought this shampoo home when he could not find my current clarifying shampoo. I really had no expectations that it would be even close to good, but I was blown away by the rich lather and glorious smell! I love it and will now buy other products in this hair care line.

Although the scent smells good and it foams up well, it left my hair feeling dirty still. I washed my hair twice with the shampoo & conditioner to give it a fair shot but was disappointed both times. I do not recommend.

The issue I have is it really dried my hair out and gave it a tangled texture. I was very disappointed but there are just some things that dry my hair out really bad and it may have been one of the ingredients but I'm not sure what.

I gave this a try on a whim at Whole Foods and am really impressed! Use it after shampooing and you can instantly feel the difference in softness (you condition as usual afterwards). Love the smell too. The only thing to keep in mind is that the texture is almost exactly like water, so it can be a little hard to not use more product than you need. Start small and go from there-- it forms a gentle later near the root and you rinse from there.

I suffer from greasy hair and this shampoo does a great job at cleansing my scalp/hair without stripping me of oils. My hair feels clean, but not brittle or dry after every wash. This is a sulfate free shampoo, so the lack of sudsing takes some getting used to. Sulfate free shampoos are way healthier for the scalp and hair, so I don’t mind forgoing the suds. The smell of this shampoo is also divine! The apple cider vinegar smell is pleasant and non irritating. The fact that this shampoo is plant based is also a major plus. An all around great shampoo!

Like an apple crisp smell- I can’t even tell it has vinegar in it. My complaints are: it doesn’t get sudsy enough, and the ingredient list is super long for something that is supposed to be “natural”.

Despite being an apple cider vinegar shampoo, it doesn't have a strong vinegar smell at all. Instead, it has a subtle, autumnal apple scent that's quite pleasant. I was also impressed by the price - it's very reasonable for the quality and quantity you get. However, I do want to note that if you're used to shampoos with sulfates, this might not be the best option for you. It's a gentler shampoo that won't strip your hair of its natural oils, so it won't give you that "squeaky clean" feel. But for me, that's a good thing! My hair feels healthy and soft after using this shampoo. I also appreciate the pump bottle - it's so much easier to use than squeeze bottles, which are a pet peeve of mine. Overall, I'm really happy with this shampoo and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a gentle, natural option.

My PH levels on my scalp are important to me and I have the best luck with Apple Cider Vinegar hair treatments because this ingredient is closest to average hair PH. No problems and much better for my hair then traditional shampoos and conditioner.

It can be a little drying, but it makes me feel like it gets my hair really clean. On day 2 my hair isn’t as oily as normal and it’s back to its usual softness. It has a good smell that doesn’t smell like ACV!

You do need more than usual amount of product to lather and it does leave your hair squeaky clean! I prefer a more moisturizing shampoo but I just make sure my second round of shampoo is a moisturizing one. Overall I love this one for deep cleaning my hair and removing EVERYTHING!
