Q: It looks like the can is tapered, therefore are the dimensions given at the top, bottom, of middle section of the can?
A: The dimensions are based on the widest parts of the container which is at the top.

Q: "Made in USA or imported" - if imported, from where?
A: Made in the USA. In Louisville Kentucky. We manufacture and injection mold all of our plastic components. Trash bins, recycling bins, lazy susans, door storage bins, tip-out trays, cutlery organizers, etc.
