A: FYI, 2.4" is abt 61 mm. It depends on what you are using it for on short hair; will add volume but won't add curls if quite short.

I bought this same hair dryer about a year ago, it lasted as long as I thought it would for the relatively low price. The bristles began to melt over time so I bought a new one, the same one because it worked well for me. Unfortunately on MY FIRST USE the motor began to struggle to stay running after only a few mins and I had a small, thin section of hair in there. The motor would speed up, then slow down, then speed up & slow down again; it just continued to get worse. Remember, this was my first time using it. I think this was a bad one, clearly defective. If you buy this hair dryer, cross your fingers you get a good one. I will be returning this tomorrow.

I bought this hoping it would be less damaging than a curling iron but not with this brand! I used the medium setting and did not need to hold it on my hair more than a few seconds. I noticed a smell but hoped that was just because it was new. One use which did work fast but burned my hair causing breakage and frizzing. I am sick! My hair is color-treated but have been using a curling iron for years without these kind of effects.

I purchased the 2019 era version with excitement. I used it two or three times then and stopped because it’s loud as heck and takes forever to dry even damp hair. I read reviews and saw there were updates and was influenced. It’s nearly the same. SO Loud and slow to dry and bulky and hard to use. Arm workout for days on one arm. Don’t be like me and try again. Save your $ and use the old one.

Bought in Aug 2024, it's already stopped working. My daughter left it plugged in overnight and it started clicking intermittently like a taser at 2am. It only does that now, does not turn on. It should still be under warranty, but is outside Target return window. Haven't been able to get any help from revlon.

I had the original version of this dryer. Although I loved the volume and style that it gave me, however I got rid of it because it was bulky and awkward to use. I was hesitant to purchase this one but based on some reviews I decided to try it. The improvements made make this my number one hair tool. 1st it is made with lighter plastic. 2nd the handle circumference is smaller and contours upward for smaller hands. There are 3 hot air drying speeds plus a 4th cool mode. The bristles are a combo of soft and hard plastic so no snagging or pulling on my hair. Happy I gave this another chance.
