I was a little hesitant at first because I always check ingredients and try to avoid anything too strong or artificial. But Ricola's drops are made with natural herbs and real honey, which gave me peace of mind. The honey really helps coat the throat, and the herbs seem to calm that tickly feeling that keeps kids up at night. What really sold me? He actually liked the taste. He called them “his magic honey candies,” and while I had to remind him not to overdo it, I was just so relieved to find something he didn’t fight me on. These have a great mild flavor. No heavy menthol flavor or taste; which I can appreciate about these. Just to clarify yes these have a low dose cough suppressant. You cannot rely on these as your only defense if you have a cough. These should supplement along with an over the counter cough suppressant. Also, these do not numb your throat like similar cough drops. What will these do? It’s an extra support when you have already taken a cough suppressant but you are still coughing quite a bit but can’t take your cough suppressant again for a few hours. They also do soothe your throat that is irritated from coughing.

When I have a cold or a cough I usually end up buying the menthol cough drops because I like how it numbs up everything and still freshens my breath. I will say my husband has been under the weather and he bought some of these ricolas and omg I love them. They are are smooth and literally taste like you are sucking on a peice of honey! Still helps with sore throats and coughs just not as minting strong

I can’t remember if I’ve ever grabbed these ones. I’m sure I’ve had it before as I’ve been eating these since I was a kid from my grandma & this is still the brand I buy for myself today. I usually grab the cherry or regular square herb ones. I saw these at the store & love honey, so decided to try this bag this time. Omg it’s so good. They’re perfect. & always the perfect soothing effect that’s needed from cough drops.

I usually use this to clear my nasals when they’re clogged from a cold. The liquid center with honey while tasty is very effective and smooth. An absolute fav!

Best tasting because it’s simple and a subtle honey flavor BUT it did not suppress my cough at all

They are soothing but there is no liquid in the middle and if you have a severe cough and are looking for strong menthol to help keep your cough at bay maybe reach for a different bag. I would buy again for an itchy allergy throat or if you are a smoker and need a lozenge to soothe a scratchy throat.

Ricola honey herb cough drops are good for throat relief. Not only for days I have a cough, but also help with dry mouth. I like their size, flavor is not overpowering, taste good, and very affordable.

They don’t have that strong menthol that irritate my breathing. These are very soothing. My son loves these when he has a cough at school.

These didn’t work at all for the post nasal drip I’m currently experiencing. Up in the middle of the night coughing with only these to fall back on and they’re useless

Compared to Halls these are great. I love the honey aspect of the Ricola Throat drops. Honey is so soothing on the throat. These drops really work.

The cough drop tastes almost like candy and works so well. Just putting one in my mouth for a few seconds got rid of my cough. 100% would recommend to anyone but specifically to people who hate the taste of medicine.

I have been married almost 45 years…years ago my mother in law recommended these cough drops and once I tried them and they really work….these are the only cough drops I purchase

Ricola throat blams are amazing. The soothing honey leaves a wonderful coating on my throat, if I have a lot of irritation/discomfort from a sore throat these are my go to. It doesn’t leave a nasty after taste either, to be honest I could suck/eat on these all day just like candy.
