Q: Would this wallpaper hold up to the humidity in a regular bathroom?

A: Hi Jessica, Yes, it is suitable in a well ventilated bathroom where steam is allowed to dissipate with a vent fan or window . It is washable: can be cleaned gently with water and a mild dish detergent (Dawn etc). Please take care not to allow cleaning solvents (Windex, Lysol, Clorox etc) to spray on the surface or inks will remove over time.

This wallpaper toile has a kind of HP Lovercraft meets Jules Verne feel to it. I wanted it the second I saw it and I put it in my small guest bathroom. I don't regret it. I was afraid of working with peel and stick wallpaper on such a small space but I did it with my daughter and it was easy enough.

Gorgeous paper, DOES NOT STICK AT ALL. I’ve used lots of peel and stick wallpapers before, but this one is unfortunately the worst. First, the backing stuck to the paper and came off in strips instead of a clean sheet. Next, the adhesive power was barely there. I read reviews elsewhere saying to activate the adhesive by water. That also didn’t work. Beautiful, gorgeous, absolutely useless wallpaper.

Sorry for the late response, we did not see this review due to a system glitch that has now been fixed. Peel and stick is to have the adhesive on it and should not have water added. We would like to apologize for your negative experience with our product. Please know, this product is recommended for walls that are smooth, flat, clean, and free of dust. If the wall is slightly textured, not cleaned properly, or recently painted, the backing may not stick very well. Again, we apologize for your experience and ask that you contact RoomMates directly so we can further resolve this issue.
