Rowenta Steamforce Iron
5 out of 5 stars

The iron is quite solid, perhaps on the heavy side, but that makes it excellent for ironing linens and heavy trousers. The steam works well and the iron accommodates a good amount of water and is easily filled, even more easily that other Rowentas I've used. I haven't used it that much yet, but i am very pleased with the way it works.

Good iron, however, I'v preciously owned Rowena irons and this one disappoints since it doesn't have a spray feature. I find this feature a must in reducing more stubborn wrinkles.

The Rowenta steam force iron is a winner. I don’t like that the iron gurgles when the water tank is full. It does iron beautifully!! Very happy with my purchase

Super sturdy and well made - the model made in France. Excellent hot steam. I really like the heavy weight - it helps the process of removing wrinkles.

The quality was so poor that I returned it. I have an older version from several years ago that I would give 5 stars but this version is extremely disappointing.

Rowenta makes The Best Irons.., my mother has used a Rowenta Irons for over 60 years. And one of her Irons, She’s had for well over 40 years now. The Rowenta Irons that were originally manufactured, and the Irons that maintained the same level of quality & production.. those Irons, are the Rowenta’s that will Always Stand Up, Stand Out & Stand Above other Clothing Iron Companies. Because other companies, want people to think it’s normal for Irons to break down, to stop working & to believe that Iron’s aren’t supposed to last; so manufacturers, just keep mass producing products for customers to buy their new irons every few months or every from them.. because they never try to build their electrical appliances good enough to produce a product that will last more than a few years at best. And that’s what makes Rowenta’s name, that’s synonymous with “ The Best Clothing Irons Companies” here and abroad! .. just ask any Mother over 50yrs old that’s had to care for her home & family💁♀️🧺, She had a lot of clothes to iron, and only an outstanding Iron could last 40-60+ years and still be working. That’s .. Rowenta for you..The Best & Only Clothing Iron.. you’ll ever need. Because once you try Rowenta, you’ll Always use & buy Rowenta! Because anything worth doing.. is worth doing Right! Thank you.. from a very happy Great Grandmother, that shared with me, her Daughter, and I’ve shared with my Daughters, Nieces & a host of Friends. My Dream Rowenta product is.. their newest Water Tank Steam Iron.. it’s a regular Clothes Iron, attached to a water tank, that sits right on your ironing board.. and, it’s genius! Their clothes Irons are great; and, this, their Newest Steam Force Tank Iron, is exactly what I mean about Rowenta's character of building & manufacturing product’s that are of Excellence!

This product definitely recommended. The only thing is that there is no water spray, but thanks to the steam system of the iron, this has never been needed.

Worst Iron Ever

Worst. Iron. Ever. I’ve used Rowenta irons forever. I replaced an older model Rowenta last year with this iron. It’s going in the trash today! I sew a lot and do a lot of alterations for myself and family as well as ironing cotton and linen clothes that don’t do well with just steaming. The button to change the mode (temperature) is right where one holds the iron, so it’s constantly changing from what I’ve set it at as I use it—set it on linen and my hand bumps the mode change and it moves to nylon. There is no option to keep the iron on “steam” so you have to constantly press the steam button to keep the iron steaming. There is no spray button to spray a mist to dampen the cloth when needed. I’ve come to the conclusion that whoever is in charge never irons nor do they test the iron with real people who do. What a waste of money and energy.

I had a Rowenta steamer before and LOVED it. I accidentally broke the water container, I could not find a replacement and purchased the new steamer. I am not as happy with the new one because the hose is shorter and the water tank doesn't hold as much water. I have a difficult time getting the hose into the resting slide and the garment hanger is HUGE and clunky.

I had a Rowenta steam iron for about 8 years before purchasing this one and was very happy with it. I am very happy with the Steam Force Pro aswell. However, there is a bit of a thumping noise that can also be felt but is normal and part of the steam production I was told.

I like it very much. My older one leaked all the time. The one before that was wonderful but I wore it out. Because of that first one I bought the Rowenta again. So far it's working wonderfully.

This is probably the best iron I have use in 40 years, but is rather heavy due to the extra water capacity and the wider base size doesn’t fit in the regular iron boards holders
