I can fit a lot of salt inside of this salt box. I usually put regular salt and pink Himalayan salt inside of the box. I have it next to the stove so that it is within arm's reach when cooking.

This salt box looks classic enough that it adds to the decor rather than looking like clutter. The swivel is smooth when opening and closing. I’m not fancy enough for two kinds of salt so I just use one of the bowls. It’s been a nice addition.

It fits perfectly on top of my stove for easy access and the lid slides open perfectly. It also has a little magnet to help keep it closed when not needed. It holds a great amount of salt. It has two slots and I put pepper on the other side.

I always just wanted to reach for a pinch of salt or pepper I’m pulling out my salt and pepper grinder out from the cupboard and bringing them to my stove top to season foods quickly was always a pain. Having salt and pepper easily on hand right next to my stove top is absolutely the way to go I will never ever not have this in my kitchen, go buy it right now!

I separated the Himalayan salt from my sea salt within the same container so that I can differentiate it from my regular table salt. Besides taking it out when I am cooking I can also take it out and put it on the table during a small get together for anyone who might like to add a bit of salt or pepper to their food as well.

There are no funky smells to it like one can occasionally find with wooden kitchen wwares. The compartments are deep and big enough to hold a generous amount of salt/spices. The kicker is the sliding magnetic lid. It just sweeps from side to side and is magnetized in the center to keep it closed. Definitely an amazing kitchen piece!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a gorgeous little box! It's a solid, heavy bowl and the lid moves well and the magnet has a good hold. Nothing too much, but keeps it in place. I let it air out for a few days and needed to rub it a little. The oil seemed to stick to the plastic and needed to be smoothed/worked in a little more but it's a pretty box and is a great size for salt or any small trinkets you might want to use it for as well.
