Got this cooler about 7 months ago and used it only 3 times. It fell about 3 feet out of the back of my Jeep while I was loading other stuff and one of the corners cracked and broke off. I’ve had cheep Igloo coolers stand up to way more than that. Called RTIC and they wouldn’t fulfill the warranty since it fell. Sorry but a cooler should be more durable than that. It’s made of cheap thin plastic over styrofoam. I saw the commercial where they were throwing these things of a bridge to show how tough they are. Obviously a fake video because if I threw this thing off a bridge it would be in a million pieces. If your looking at one of these do yourself a favor and just go get a cheap Igloo cooler from Wal-Mart. You’ll get much more use out of it.

I did a lot of searching and used Gemini deep research to help me figure out if this cooler would fit in my truck. I was about 80% confident that it would and I took the leap to get the 52 light over the 42 rugged. Turns out that out does fit, just barely. You need to give it a little nudge to get it through the opening, and then it will slide in and to either side. It takes up about half the trunk but it fits! I have not used the unit yet, but given all the other reviews, I wanted to leave this one specifically for those wondering if this will fit in a Tesla model 3. For reference, this is a 2020 model.

Followed the steps to keep food chilled for many hours but frozen items thawed or began thawing after 10-12 hours. A little disappointed. However it did keep cold items cold longer than most.

As someone who travels across the country to visit family several times a year, having a cooler I can rely on to transport perishables both ways. It's one of those items that's always on the packing list for road trips and beach trips. The fact that this cooler is lightweight makes it a no brainer to throw in the car and have ready to go.

Was a good cooler but now after infrequent use over just 2 years, gentle use at that. leaks at the drain plug making it useless and messy. Should have just gotten a yeti or orca. Live and learn. Poor design. Thinking of filling drain plug with epoxy to stop the leak.

Great cooler!! It has held the same three bags of ice for eight days and counting. I know it's winter so things stay cold. But my last cooler wouldn't make it three days if the sun was shining. If it holds up during the summer heat to half this time. I will be extremely happy!! Not purchasing ice every day!! Excellent product would purchase again and recommend it to everyone!!!

I am RTIC fanboy so understand it comes from a place of appreciation. BUT. . . . IF I hadnt lost a family member in the time frame of receiving this I WOULD HAVE sent it back. I wish the information on this cooler would have stated it is PLASTIC. I do NOT have confidence that this will not crack/etc. for outdoor use. Also, why don't you offer the color scheme in other cooler options? The 16oz mug WHY?. . . . does the lid not have some GRIP/seration/texture around the edge so its not a FIGHT to get the lid screwed off? Its almost impossible if your hands are slightly wet. . . think outdoor use.
