Safety 1st Bob-and-Twist Baby Activity Center

Putting together the product was pretty quick and easy with the pieces either clicking or snapping into place. My daughter loved a couple of the toys that were on the jumper such as the moveable shape pieces, clear spinner, and circular spinner. She didn’t care for the 2 toys on the piano that you could spin around. The piano my daughter liked but she had some difficulty pushing the buttons. As for jumping wise, when we put my 9 month old in we noticed this jumper had its springs extended even if we had the jumper adjusted to the lowest setting. So she would have to figure out how to jump to really get any bounce in. It took a bit at the beginning and may have just been a learning curve but after awhile she started to get the concept and bounced a bit. It didn’t have as much bounce though like we had thought it would have. Overall though, our daughter loves it and seems to enjoy spending time bouncing around for a bit. I would recommend this product to parents as it can definitely keep their kiddos occupied and happy for a bit!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a very active 7 month old little boy. He absolutely loves pulling up to stand, crawling around everywhere - he is into everything! We received this activity center to try out and it has been so great! First of all, it only took about five minutes to put together and feels really sturdy. I can let my little boy play in it without worrying about him getting into something he isn't supposed to, and he is so happy because he feels very independent getting to stand. The design is great, it is colorful enough that it entertains my son but nothing too crazy that it doesn't stick out in our home. It is also extremely easy to wipe down and clean. His favorite toy right now is the spinner rattle but with how easy it is for him to spin and turn in this I'm sure he will quickly discover new favorites too. I must say, it's a fantastic product for keeping little ones entertained and engaged! It’s kept my little one entertained in our living area, kitchen while I’m preparing meals and even in the bathroom while we’re getting ready for our day. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Safety 1st Bob-and-Twist™ Activity Center is a nice product for parents looking for a safe place to put baby while we get some housework done. The color is really nice. I like that it has some colorful elements while still being tasteful so it's not a horrible eye sore in the house. It does not fit through doorways while fully assembled so just an FYI if you are wanting something that will go from room to room. The toys on the activity center are nice, but could use some small improvements. I like that the piano is not super loud and obnoxious, but I wish it had separate interactive piano keys. I also really like the bead maze thing, but it's a bit too close to the seat and my baby had a hard time pushing the beads aroundon the bottom section. I think the table saw looking toy could be fully replaced with something else. My baby wasn't interested in it and it could be a hazard if baby throws their head forward on it. The spinning toy with beads was her favorite and worked as intended! She REALLY wanted to pull the animals off and play with them so having them be removable would be nice. We mostly used the activity center in the living room so I could get some dishes done or work on dinner. My baby loved being able to bounce and turn around and see everything. She also kept falling asleep in it and I had to transfer her to her bed, so I'm going to say it is probably comfortable! Overall it's a pretty good activity center! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter has a little activity table that she can stand in, but she constantly trying to jump in it as well, so I thought this would be a big hit and I was not disappointed. The first time I put her down in it, she was confused and then within 30 seconds, she had figured out how to bounce and now she would easily stay in there for an hour if I let her. She still likes to see me, but it means I can go do something on the other side of the room or in the kitchen while she bounces around. The toys around the edge are fun — she especially likes the little discs that move along the wire — but the best and most unique part of this is the jumping. It was mostly pretty easy to put it together. I needed an extra set of hands at one point to hold the seat while I attached everything. I was a little nervous about it at first, that something would snap and my daughter would fall, but the design seems very well thought out and very safe. I was totally comfortable once I saw how it fit together. I was given this activity center to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel.

My son is 8 months old and has been having the time of his life playing in the activity center. I love the extra straps that were added to the connectors that allows additional toys to be added for the baby to play with. The seat feels very sturdy and I have zero safety concerns. It was very easy to assemble, and I had it up and running within five minutes. The ability for my son to spin his seat and play with different toys when he wanted kept him entertained. His favorite toy was the singing piano and he would often dance and bounce to the music. I keep this in our living room and it’s used daily but he never gets bored. I would recommend this activity center to anyone with a baby. It’s safe and fun all in one. I also give it bonus points for the ease of cleaning! My son has horrible reflux and we have been able to clean this up with no problem. 10/10 stars!!

We love how gender neutral the colors are! We have an 8 month old girl who is using it now, and a little boy on the way in a few months! It's a little big but this is common for bouncers like this. It isn't heavy and can be folded up for storage! Some of the toys are awesome, and kept our baby fully engaged! The bear and the mouse are a little pointless in my opinion. I wish they were able to spin easily or just do something more engaging. My daughter struggles to move them but they won't budge for her, lol. I also wish the piano was easier to engage. It looks like there are 3 sections to push, but it is only one and it is difficult to press, even for me. She enjoys moving the little trinkets on the white bar and trying to spin the yellow wheel but it doesn't move too easily unfortunately. My baby really loves the spinning clear plastic oval portion, that keeps her the most occupied. We keep the activity center in our living room, which is the perfect place for us to see her when we need to be busy in the kitchen. I love how the seat is more cushioned than our old bouncer and her walker. I also love that this bouncer is great for taller babies and that it is adjustable, affordable, and fun for our baby! It really keeps her engaged and entertained and I would highly recommend it to others!

I would also like to mention that everything I say in this review is 100% the honest way I feel about the product and how my child has reacted and responded to the product as well. I would like to say THANK YOU to the people who created this product. My child is absolutely entertained and this is the only product on the market right now that is able to actually keep him happy!! I normally struggle with activity centers usually not being entertaining enough for my 5 1/2 month old. He loves the Bob-and-Twist Activity Center so much due to the main reason being on how much new freedom and experience it gives him!! He loves jumping, spinning and standing around while I hold him, this product now does it for me!! I normally am not able to get much around the house due to how nothing keeps my son entertained long enough but just before I typed this review I was able to wash dishes, his bottles and cook myself a small lunch!! I’ve never been able to do that. Your child will absolutely LOVE the Bob-and-Twist Activity Center like mine does!! When I first received the activity center I had loved the colors and toys on the center! My sons favorite toy on the activity center hands down has to be the light up piano that plays music! He does get a lot of entertainment out of the other variety of toys that had came on it as well. I like that I am able to take and use this WHEREVER in my house, my room, living room, garage, outside, etc it is there and ready for my son!! This is the best and only activity center that was able to keep my sons attention and keep him entertained long enough so I’m able to do something around the house. I would have never considered Safety 1st as a frontrunner for baby toys and activities, but was pleasantly surprised with the Safety 1st Bob-and-Twist™ Activity Center! The overall product design is good. It is easy to clean, very sturdy, and has good spots for baby snacks. The downside of the design is the musical portion of the activity center is not attached. It can be ripped out fairly easily… and then thrown or dropped. The featured toy variety was great with many to-dos for baby. My baby’s favorite activity is reaching and jumping for the hanging toys. This activity center was particularly useful during peak busy times in the house. It provides a safe place to put baby and keep her entertained. It is also useful for burning some of baby’s restless energy… LOTS of jumping! I do not like that the activity center does not have bolder colors to attract and maintain baby’s attention. I also do not like that the musical portion of the center can be removed by a baby! This could be dangerous or just break the toy. Additionally, the music options should feature more variety and longer songs. Overall, I would recommend this product as a well-rounded and cost-effective activity center. Although I believe this product has some room for improvement, my baby definitely enjoys the Safety 1st Bob-and-Twist™ Activity Center!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We received this product through the Stellar Product Testing Panel. We had high hopes for this bouncer but found it fell short in a few key areas. The weight limit of 25 pounds seemed low, especially since babies likely won’t use it until they have full head control. This means there’s a pretty narrow window for use. Additionally, the springs don’t offer much bounce. It’s more of a subtle movement than a true bouncer or jumper, which was disappointing for our active baby. The toy selection also left a bit to be desired. Our little one enjoyed the spinning clear cylinder with beads but lost interest fairly quickly. While the piano looked fun, its clear design made it less obvious that pressing the buttons would create sound. He loves his other piano but didn’t interact with this one the same way. Other toys, like the spinning animals and the wheel, weren’t intuitive enough for him to engage with, so they didn’t hold his attention. We placed the activity center in the middle of our main living space, hoping it would become a central play station. Unfortunately, our baby often crawled around it to get to his other toys instead. The feature we appreciated most was that the activity center allowed him to move himself around. For a very active baby, this mobility was appealing, but the limited bounce and lack of engaging toys meant it wasn’t as exciting as we had hoped. Overall, while this bouncer has some nice features, it didn’t quite meet our expectations. It might work better for less active babies, but for ours, it just wasn’t engaging enough to compete with his other toys and activity stations.

However, I did notice that the bird and butterfly toys are positioned quite high for my baby to reach. While they are visually appealing for my baby, it would enhance the experience if they were a bit lower to allow my little one to interact with them. Overall, the design of the activity center is impressive. It feels sturdy and safe, which is incredibly important for any parent. The variety of activities available keeps my child engaged, and I appreciate how easy it is to clean.

I love the muted colors that are just a little more than only neutrals, and the lightweight design makes it easy to move. It is still sturdy, though, and holds up well even when my 10-month-old is feeling rowdy. The toys attached to it are cute and cover a good variety of motor skills. My son especially loves the rolling bead. We use it in our living room, but we’ve also brought it onto the porch when we want to hang out there as a family. I like that this activity center lightweight and easy to move, but strong enough to last for a while. My son loves bouncing in it and has also enjoyed playing with all of the toys. I love watching him learn and figure out how it all works!

I found this product to be very helpful, I was specifically interested in it for family meal time or food prep where my child needed entertainment in a safe space, within my view but not someplace where I could set up a gate or playpen like my dining area. I liked the toy variety and thought it was more engaging than a similar table we own. My child’s favorite activity is the beads. I appreciated the adjustable straps so the unit can grow with my child. I do wish the additional birds and butterflies were something my child could interact with but they are out of reach. Perhaps it will be different as heights and levels changed.

I was so excited to receive and put together. It was easy to assemble and I love the ease of assembling and disassembling to take to different places. With smaller children running around it is nice to have a place to put our younger baby and know that she is safe. This activity center has many options to keep a child’s attention while they can jump and spin and feel somewhat mobile. 1. It is really simple to set up the activity center. It took less than 15 minutes to assemble. I love the wipeable seat cover and the toys are not too small and intricate to wipe and disinfect as well. Less can be more and I feel this has the right amount of toys displayed. 2. It is very lightweight but feels sturdy. Love the neutral (not so bright) colors to blend with home decor. The design is creative! It does take up quite a bit of space but I am sure that is for safety reasons. 3. This activity center gives more than just a safe place for my child but allows her to work on her motor skills. She loves to move her feet and will love to bounce/jump for mobility. This will be a great addition to our home! I will be sending pictures of the Safety 1st Bob-and-Twist Activity Center without children.

Once he realized he could twist and rotate inside it ensured he was never bored of a toy since each side had a different activity. He especially liked the side where he could move the pieces from one side to the other. There was a little music station as well which was nice. The variety of toys seemed well thought out as they were all different from one another. We used this in our den and it was easily moved from one area to another if you needed the spot for something else. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I thought this was an ok activity center that was aesthetically pleasing to be sure, but overall did have some things lacking. I already have an existing bouncer with activity center that is easily foldable from another big baby brand name so I have something to compare this to. I’m a mom of a 10 month old and appreciate the small moments of time I can get hands free to do things around the house so good activity centers are so useful for me! Here are the pros: It’s a pretty color palette and matches all our personal decor and baby mat. I like the variety of toys available, and my daughter especially likes the rolling ball toy for the sound it makes and that it’s clear so you can see all the movement inside. The seat rolls easily so my baby can rotate and interact with all the different toys. Importantly, the surface and seat are easy to clean! So far we haven’t needed to fold it and store it out of the way, but I do like that you can quickly pop the legs out. Ok now for some cons: the musical toy has a bit of a mechanical/electrical tune instead of musical tune, which may be a small thing, but if you hear it all the time it can get a bit annoying. In addition, another smaller issue is there isn’t a large area on the surface for my daughter to stick her silicone bowl to. I got used to having that capability on my other activity center. Finally, my baby is a thicc lady and the leg holes appear too tight on her. That means I can’t leave her in it for too long because I’m worried she’ll get uncomfortable. Overall, the cons may not be important to others but I find that I prefer my other activity center and feel like I can leave my baby in it longer. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] WOW! This activity center is a new favorite thing to do for my 9-month-old son. He has a doorway jumper at the grandparents house but this Safety 1st Bob-and-Twist™ Activity Center is far superior! He realized quickly that he can jump and turn in this Safety 1st and has a grand time. It is well-engineered to grow with your baby (up to 25 lbs). The seat part is high quality with a lot of depth. He loves to look up at the two plush toys when he jumps. He engages with each toy at the tray level, especially moving the beads across their track. The makers of this really put a lot of thought into the toys being engaging for little ones and are right for the age. It has a good color palette for all tastes. The one thing I will note that is not spectacular is the music, the tune is short and has a somber tone vs. being upbeat like jumping is. Really, didn't need to put batteries into that - the two figurines around the piano are fun enough. This is the now go-to place to put him when I am making dinner or carrying laundry upstairs, I know he is safe in it and always very happy. We have it right in the center of our house. It is super easy to move somewhere with two hands and it does collapse down easily like it says, just three legs to pop out. I think we will take it with us when we travel by car for the holidays so that I know he will have a place to go that is baby safe. Highly recommend. I will say it does take up some space, but that gives my boy room to grow with it. What I love most is the removable, washable seat and that it can be used up to 25lbs.
