Parents naturally worry when they see the flaking skin of cradle cap, but in most cases the condition is not serious or long-lasting. Using this cradle cap brush as directed will help you to gently loosen and remove the flakes from your baby's scalp to alleviate the symptoms and keep your baby comfortable. I used this to try and remove some dead skin from my infants scalp and it took off all his hair. If I could go back and never use this brush I would! I'm am devastated over the results. I would not recommend this product to anyone.

Cradle Cap brush for the whole family!

The Safety 1st Soothing Scrub Brush fits really comfortably on an adult's hand and the soft bristles on the brush work well in both a circular and combing motion. My 7 month old twins both enjoyed their scalp massage! Ironically, my 6 year old had more significant cradle cap than my 7 month old twins! She has a thick head of long hair and the brush was still able to get the scales on her scalp loose. I only wish I had the brush when my twins were younger and their cradle cap was more significant. I was given this baby brush to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel.

Gentle but Effective - Loved by Sensitive Babies

I used this brush on my 3-month-old during bathtime and he loved it! The bristles are much softer to the touch than they appear (in pictures and even in person). I was hesitant that my baby would like the feel of anything on his head because he's quite sensitive to touch but he loved it. I actually tried it on one side of his head at first and the cradle cap looked much better on that side than the other. (I only brush it on his head 1-2 times per bath.) This worked better on my son than a more expensive 3-step kit I used on my daughter at about the same age. Note: I have not tried any chemical solutions to help rid either child of cradle cap so I can't compare this to those. I also appreciate that the brush comes apart so I can easily clean and dry it after use. It's quite convenient and I'd recommend it to anyone. Even my daughter likes playing with it during bathtime. I received this baby brush from the Stellar Product Testing Panel.

Cradle Cap Lifesaver!

My son is 10 weeks old and we have been battling mini bouts of cradle cap for the last 5 or so weeks! Nothing has fixed it permanently! We've tried breastmilk and different creams, and although they help for a small amount of time, nothing has solve it! When I received the Safety 1st Soothing Scrub Brush as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel, I just assumed it wouldn't work, honestly…because nothing has. Well I'm happy to say, today was the 3rd time we've used the brush and I've already seen more improvements than I've seen in the last 5 weeks with all the other products I've tried! Although his cradle cap is not completely gone, I am hopeful and definitely recommended.

We received the Safety 1st Soothing Scrub Brush through the Stellar Product Testing Panel at the perfect time! My newborn was suffering from cradle cap, but this brush proved to be a game-changer. Its gentle yet effective design effortlessly removed all the pesky flakes in just one bath. What impressed me most is how comfortably it fits in hand, thanks to its cleverly curved shape. Even after the cradle cap cleared, we continue to use it in every bath, and it's become an essential part of our routine. I highly recommend it to any parent dealing with a newborn's skincare needs.

Great for helping with cradle cap

I received this baby brush to try as part of Stellar Product Testing Panel and was excited to use it since I have a 3 month old who has cradle cap. I have been treating it naturally with breast milk baths and a homemade breast milk lotion. It made it a lot better, but takes weeks and doesn't fully get rid of the last bit of dry/flakey skin. I tested the brush first on my skin and it was gentle so I wasn't worried of it hurting my baby's head. I used it during bath time, and once with just water since we only give a bath once or twice a week to protect baby's skin. It worked well and I could see the flakes coming off with minimal effort. In just two uses, there is a visible difference in the cradle cap. The scrub brush was easy to use, and gentle enough for a young baby. I did notice a little redness after use, which in my opinion is expected when you rub something against skin more than once in the same spot. However, my baby never showed discomfort. I also tested it on my 4 year olds scalp, and she said that it felt really relaxing. My husband who has much bigger hands than me also tried it and said it was comfortable for his hand as well. I used this brush in combination with my home remedies so that may have helped see faster results, but I would recommend this brush to other parents dealing with babies with cradle cap.

I received this product as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. This brush is extremely easy to use, and was gentle enough for my 4 week old newborn. She seemed to enjoy this being rubbed on her head, and after only a few minutes I could see the cradle cap gathering in the brush. This is a very effective product that I would recommend to any parents!

I received this baby brush from the Stellar Product Testing Panel. The brush was easy to use, and did a better job than just using my hand or a wash cloth. I liked that it came apart to dry out and prevent mold from growing inside. The brush was effective to exfoliate my baby's head and loosen some of the dry skin, but after using it multiple times he continues to have flaky skin on his head. I would recommend it to others although I'm not sure how long it will take to completely clear out the dry skin.

Didn't work for us

We received this product to try as a Stellar Product Testing Panel member. I wanted to like this and had high hopes it would help us get rid of that last bit of cradle cap. Unfortunately, the brush was too soft and my baby's hair was too long for this brush to work effectively. Maybe babies with little to no hair would benefit better from a product like this, but it didn't work for my little one. We tried it in the bath after applying shampoo and another time with baby oil, neither did the job. For reference, my baby is 4 months old and was born with a headful of straight, silky hair. He had already lost the cradle cap around the perimeter of his hair line, the only cradle cap still intact was that under his hair. I found that using a standard, straight comb with narrow bristles was more effective. Because a comb has harder bristles, I used gentle pressure and massaged his hair in circles to gently break up the cradle cap in some places. The narrow bristles also allowed the cradle cap to lift away from the hair follicles as it tends to get sticky and is hard to remove, very similar to how a lice comb works. I had never tried it before so I believe over time, this will be a more effective way to rid him completely of the cradle cap. I don't recommend continuing to massage it all away at one time so as not to cause the baby any discomfort. All in all, I like the idea of the cradle cap brush(and my baby enjoyed his little head massage with it), but due to my baby's hair type and amount of hair, I feel it didn't work as intended for us.

We've used different cradle cap brushes and this is by far one of our favorites! The handle is a perfect fit for any hand size, the brush itself is soft but plentiful to clean every strain of hair and is extremely soft on baby skin so there's no irritation. The instructions are clear on how to remove the cradle cap and it truly helps - it may take a few extra baths but you can see a difference within the first bath. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who has a baby with cradle cap. We received this product through Stellar Product Testing Panel.

I had tried many methods to get rid of my baby's cradle cap, but this one finally made a difference. The brush was very soft on my baby's head and gentle on her fine hair. It is easy to use and has a sleek and simple design. It exfoliated my baby's head well and I was not worried about it hurting her since the bristles are SO soft and small. I would recommend it to my friends and family as a simple and non-chemical way to remove stubborn cradle cap. My baby was 10 months old and after a few uses her cradle cap is not noticeable, and she had cradle cap since she was 4 months old. This review is entirely my own, and I received this product from the Stellar Panel testing panel.

After receiving this brush from Stellar Product Testing, we immediately used it on my son's head as he has been having trouble with cradle cap. Overall, I felt this brush was quite ordinary when compared to others on the market as far as how well it cleared cradle cap. I did however enjoy that the base was bigger to allow for an adult hand to fit comfortably for easier use. If this product priced better than other similar brushes, I would purchase this item.

I received this baby brush from the Stellar Product Testing Panel. As a first-time parent, I am particular about the products I use for my daughter. The bristles on this brush are very soft and gentle. They make brushing my daughters head simple and quick. The bristles softly massage her scalp while removing flakes. The hand loop is made of high-quality silicone. It can stretch a bit for those with bigger hands. The bristles separate from the handle for easy cleaning and disinfecting. And then easily go back together. All of the components dry quickly. She loves the feel of the bristles so much it has become a regular part of our bathing routine. I'm delighted with the brush and recommend it to friends and family.

I received this product through Stellar product testing. I am not receiving anything for this review it is my honest opinion. This brush is top notch! It cleared my sons cradle cap up in just a few baths! I do wish it had a comb as well! It's extremely well made and it's super easy to use. When it's time to wash the brush you can just throw it in the dishwasher! It works like magic.

Handy Cradle Cap Brush!

Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this soothing cradle cap brush. Prior to receiving the brush we washed our sons hair a few times and used a wash cloth and a smaller brush, however after using the soothing cradle cap brush I was shocked at all the scaly patches that were on my sons head. In the initial wash it loosened the scales but after another good wash it took off practically all of the cradle cap scales. With my baby being little, 4 weeks, I was nervous about the bristles on the brush but they were soft and flexible making them perfect for our little guys head. There's also a handle on the back of the brush which makes it an easy grip as I was using it on my sons scalp. I would definitely recommend this product to my family and friends.

I was given this baby brush to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a cradle cap brush! I wasn't sure how well a cradle cap brush would work with my son since he has so much hair but this one worked great! I like how simple and soft the design is. It fits nicely in my hand and my little dude didn't mind it at all. I found it worked best after washing his hair first to help loosen up the dry flakes. Definitely gonna use this brush with my future babies too!

I received the soothing scrub brush through the Stellar Product Testing Panel and it worked great and just as its advertised to work. It does exactly what its supposed to do, although I will add that a friend advised to use coconut oil on craddle cap and after sitting for a few minutes, brush it off. All the craddle cap came off super easy using the brush. Maybe it was the coconut oil, maybe it was the brush - either way, it got the job done. I do believe you need some type of brush and not just a wash clothe, so I do think this brush comes in handy. I like that the brush is easy to use with its hand strap and that the material is soft which makes it easier and safer to use on a newborn. After use for craddle cap, I have left the brush in the shower and we use it on the babys head for every-day baths/cleaning.

I was given this baby brush to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel and it could not have come at a more perfect time! At 6 weeks my baby started losing the hair on top of her head and her scalp started peeling. I immediately began using a cradle cap gel and brushing her scalp with the Safety 1st Soothing Cradle Cap Soft Bristle Brush and within a week we are seeing a difference. I am extremely happy with the scrub brush, it comfortably fits on my (and my husband's!) hand and my baby was very content as I used the brush to remove dead skin. I was also happy to see that the brush did not rip out my baby's new hair that has start to grow in. I would recommend this brush to anyone dealing with cradle cap!

Safety 1st Soothing Cradle Cap Brush Review

Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel, I was able to test out the Safety First Soothing Scrub Brush, designed to help remove dry skin and cradle cap from baby's head in the bath. The brush has a convenient strap along the back for easy grip and helps with the use of getting a good scrub on baby's head. I noticed the brush was durable enough to really work in the shampoo yet gentle enough that it didn't pull on baby's hair and baby didn't cry at all with the use of it. I love the fact that the scrub brush is removable for cleaning between uses, even able to be placed in the dishwasher! Overall, I think the product is straightforward, easy to use and clean and would recommend to friends and family for use with their infants.
