so I bought this cause it seemed cool, but I was a little nervous about trying it because of lots of bad reviews. But so far it's good! I put it on, and it didn't ruin my nails or anything, but didn't add anything special either. Only complaint is that it doesn't look very sugarcoated but I'll update after I'm finished with these nails!

I used 1 layer of the Unicorn top coat 106 over 1 layer of Twinkles 785. It creates a a light pinky purple shine. Sometimes I’ll do 2 coats of the step 1. They’re easy to use, very quick drying and last me 10-12 days no problem, and this is day 9 in the pic. I work my hands hard with tools and I wash a lot too. They help protect my natural nails from breaking

I like the glitter and coloring a lot, but it peels pretty easily. My only "gel-like" comparison is the Essie long-wearing glossy top coat, but the Essie does last longer for me. It might be because that one doesn't have glitter, though.

It leaves a dull, rough finish on my nails. It almost looks like they are smudged. I bought it by accident, thought it was the smooth gel finish top coat.

This is the only top coat I’ve used for years. It does a great job keeping my polish chip-free for a week at a time. It doesn’t get clumpy and is easy to remove.

I used this over color street to see if I could get the ends to last a little longer. It dried fast and is super shiny. In the photo, the pink nail has 3 coats of unicorn of top. It's subtle straight on but you can see it better at different angles if you look at the 2nd picture. The other nails have the sally shiny brilliant clear gel top coat. I think these are all great to level up a color or to make a manicure last longer.

It looks beautiful in the bottle but once you actually apply it to your nails the "sugar" makes it look like your nails have little bubbles on them and it doesn't give a shiny clean look. It's bumpy. I really don't know how to explain it but it looks and feels odd. Also, majority of the reviews on here are from influenster and I feel like aren't an accurate representation...

I like that I can put it on my gel nails as a top coat to switch up, and I also use it on its own when I give my nails a break from gel. This dries quickly and easy to remove with a nail polish remover or acetone. I carry it in my purse for emergencies as well.

It’s gorgeous. Adds a nice shimmer to polish #1. I will definitely purchase more colors. Fast dry and last for about 3 days (if you do lots of house work like me). Will last longer if you don’t.

I purchased the Sugar top coat in-store, so I had no idea that this leaves an actual sugar like texture on my nails. Not sure why you would want a rough texture on your nails. Guess I need to pre shop online so I understand what I'm purchasing in-store. I will be returning this, if they take it back. Worst purchase, now I've got to completely redo my nails, ugh!

Im obsessed with the unicorn top coat. I apply it on top of every color and it looks so freaking good!! Makes every color look like I have unicorn nails. It dries quick and stays on forever.
