I had actually never heard of the saltair brand until I walked upon it a couple months ago. As someone who has 3a to 3b hair, the only company I use is Shea Moisture but I started noticing my some curls were slowly not curly. This product definitely not only makes my hair smell like coconut (one of my favorite smells) but actually defines the curls again. I do a finger coil when letting this set in the shower and then rake it out. Definitely will buy again!

I honestly didn’t expect to like this product-I’ve become jaded I guess - considering the 37 various hair cleaners and conditioners I’ve tried just this year. But I did. The scent is lovely but the real surprise was how soft bouncy and defined my graying curls became after one use.

Smells good but it weighed my hair down and feel greasy but it also dried my ends. I hated the way it made my hair feel..felt gross
Still can't tell if it's helping.

I've been searching for a new conditioner for so long and this one, admittedly is a bit expensive, so it was a risk. I've been using this in combination with the customizable hair mask and it keeps my hair less dry for longer, but it feels hit or miss depending on the current state of my hair.

DO NOT USE IF YOU COLOR YOUR HAIR - I switched to this shampoo and conditioner since my last coloring and just went in to get my hair colored same as always, and my hair literally turned to a jelly mush!! I only color my hair twice a year at most and I have an amazing stylist. The shampoo and conditioner are the only thing to change. With this awful chemical reaction has left me with very thin hair, though I'm grateful to walk away with ANY hair after seeing it come out in CLUMPS in the stylist washing bowl!
So good, worth the leap of faith!!!

I was nervous to buy because of all the negative reviews, but i’m so glad I did. Without product in, my waves have never felt so light and good. It smells so good with the golden hour body wash; I use a different cleanser shampoo from a different brand but I will always keep this conditioner in my routine now!!!

The smell was good but it is so thin almost like lotion so in order to even coat my semi-thick curls, I needed about 12 pumps. Even then it still did not soften my hair or even make a difference at all. Just a waste of my money.
Wouldn't buy again

I’ve been using this conditioner for months and love it. Always stock up during the annual sale. Leaves a nice light scent and a very soft hold.

I bought this since I did notice it had contained rice water, and my hair was on a moisture overload. So this did bring my hair back to life for a bit since I needed the protein, but after a month, I had too much protein, and started shedding A LOT. I liked the smell of it, and my hair was great for a while, but this isn't a shampoo or conditioner I can use daily. I plan to keep it still, but it's an every now and then type of product for me. It honestly worked better to add protein to my hair than a lot of hair masks I've tried.

The packaging got me. I really love the metal bottle. The main ingredients seemed really great that the list on the main bottle. I realized after I got home there wasn't a full ingredients list on the bottle but under a sticker on the bottom (similar to medicine). The product contains dimethicone which I won't use on my curly hair. I'll be returning because of that. The smell on this was nice, not to perfume heavy, flowery or sweet.
Terrible packaging/pump

The pump on this didn't work at all! So then we tried to use it without the pump, but the bottle is metal - you can't squeeze it, and the conditioner was very thick- it wouldn't pour out.. We ended up putting a tall iced tea spoon in the bottle just so this conditioner didn't go to waste. Not sure that was the best idea since the scent was kind of overwhelming. Will not buy this brand again.

I was not impressed with this product. It actually stripped out some of the color I had in my hair even though it states it’s safe for color treated hair. I also did not get any curl definition from this product. It could just be my hair but I would steer clear if you have color in your hair.
Did nothing for my hair

I’m really disappointed in the saltair curl line. The shampoo was one of the worst shampoos I had ever used and the conditioner is marginally better. Doesn’t hydrate and honestly once I rinsed my hair doesn’t feel any better then prior to conditioning. I don’t think it stripped and turned my hair into straw like the shampoo but it was so incredibly blah. The curl line needs a reformulation and to be trialed by various curl types. It’s a do nothing product in a pretty bottle. Very faint smell too.

I purchased the shampoo and conditioner from this line. they are both very good. I had dry hair from using a high end "bonding complex" line and this conditioner saved my curls and tamed my frizz and ends. It's a medium weight conditioner but spreads like a dream. My hair is thick medium course, long 2b/2c. I'm glad I purchased. Better than the $30 salon conditioner I was using. The only complaint is although it smells nice it's not as highly scented as Instagram would have you believe.
It’s ok! Nothing bad to said just not for me. 4-10
