I bought this this week, used it twice now, will not be using it again. All it does is buzz constantly. Nothing I have tried to trouble shoot has worked. I'm over it, would not recommend.

I bought to make coney hot dogs for a party and was not disappointed. Hotdogs were plump and putting the buns in last few minutes came out soft and not soggy. This was a win win for me….great hotdogs and happy “hungry” people

I bought this cool little hot dog steamer with my camper in mind and it is awesome!! It is plastic and can get hot, but if you take your time and watch yourself, it's awesome! Makes hotdogs and steamed buns in just a few minutes. My husband and I love it! Small size makes it perfect for our camper.

I bought this for my autistic adult son. He loves hot dogs and we are working on being able to do things independently. He caught on the first time we tried it. Being autistic he is also very particular about what he eats. He loved the hot dogs as did I and his nephews.

It's ALL plastic. The water doesn't get hot enough to truly steam the dogs. Course, if it did it would melt the plastic.

I put a small lock and lock with sauerkraut with hot dogs fantastic. Some people complain about soggy buns. In the instructions it does say put in towards the end of cooking time for a quick warming. Have potholders handy, steam is hot and will burn you. The handle is okay but can be heavy if you put sauerkraut in, use 2 hands. Very easy cleaning. Good for 4 people .. hot dogs get very hot...whole meal in 7 minutes. I used Nathan's hot dogs. No complaints. I made 4 times first week. Thin plastic, just don't drop.

Purchased for my 22 yr Grandson who LOVES hot dogs! He won't need to dirty a skillet or boil hot dogs in water...YUK! Buns will be toasty warm in steamer W/hot dogs; all ready @ once W/O extra steps! He loves it!

We bought one of these earlier this year and returned it immediately. It is 100% plastic, no metal parts at all and VERY cheaply made. There is another style of hot dog cooker and bun toaster that actually is like a toaster that is much better quality. Please do not waste money on this.
