The primary cameras are capable of recording high-quality videos along with clicking mesmerizing pictures. The smartphone has an inbuilt storage capacity of 128GB, which can be further expanded up to a mammoth 512GB by using a microSD card. It also features fast charging and wireless charging support. The data plan will depend on the carrier you intend to use oversea. You have to contact the carrier directly to find out if their data plan will work on this phone.

Q: Model G973 or G973U? I specifically need it to be G973U or G973U1, which I believ the "U" stands for "unlocked." Is this just a G973 but then somehow unlocked for most carriers?

Bought 2 of these phones. One acted up right away so we returned it and prchased one in-store. 2nd Phone did not hold a charge for a full day with moderate use. I typically do not use my cell phone much at home as we still use a land line (yes...we are old)!. We did some traveling a few weeks after we purchared the phones and I realized that it was not holding a charge then. Tried to return problem phone and get a store credit towards one I purchased in store. Was told there was notuing that could be done because I did not return the phone within a 14 day period...so basiclly I have no way to redeem money paid for a faulty phone...hard lesson learned...also, forced to give Star rating so I just put 1. They don't deserve any!

The phone came locked. Target gave a run around - to call Samsung - Samsung said to call the provider it is locked with - the provider said the phone cannot be unlocked because it is still under an installment contract. This phone shouldn't be sold. Had to physically go to the store to return it, still waiting for refund to the card. Waste of time.

I purchased this phone and it was locked. It was also still tied to someone's account who had not paid off the phone yet and had multiple payment installments left. When I contacted Target about the false claims the site had made regarding the phone, they replied that it was a 3rd party item and that they didn't have much information regarding the item. Buyer beware!

Got this phone for my wife, It charged the first time great. After 2 days it would not charge again. Brought it to Targer tech and they tried alot of things and said the phone was bad and to take it back. I talked to Samsung and walked them through the same thing and they agreed that the mother board was bad. On a two day old phone that was refutbished. Oh and it was missing the conection so I could not connect it to the old phone. DO NOt BUY this. Target took it back.. I would like to praise Target tech and Samsung for the great service. But not wohever refurshid this phone.
