Bought this item for a hydraulic saris trainer. Needed to fit a mountain bike with a wider rear axle assembly. Needed to shorten the distance of the axle holding tube. Works great, very pleased.

I needed to add a couple washers since the thru axle is for a 148 but it worked great.

It took some extra time and expertise from bike shop crews to figure out exactly which kit I needed (determined it was based on thread pitch which I couldn’t do on my own). Once I ordered it, it was a dream! Easy to install and feels very solid. I’m very happy.it works fine with my Cyclops trainer.

I needed an axle adapter to get my Saris trainer to work with my Trek bike. To make sure I got the right one for my make and model, I sent a note to Saris report and got an answer the next morning. Ordered the part, it arrived pronto, and now I'm pedaling indoors through the cold wintry weather.

Excellent product. I want to give 4/5 because I really wish a few more spacers were included, but that's not technically a flaw, but a preference. I used all spacers to make one side even with the other as for as protrusion, but had to leave the opposite devoid of spacers.

I needed this to adapt my through axle MTB on my Saris M2 trainer. It fits perfectly and does what is advertised. I just think it is too expensive for a big bolt.

Not bad but no instructions and no support. It keep loosening and I think I’ll just give it up and leave my old bike in the trainer.

It works great with my Saris trainer. It wasn’t obvious to me how to adjust the size properly, but the eventually figured it out after some trial and error.

I have an old cycleops trainer and wanted to put my newer bicycle with a thru axle on it. I found a problem with the bolt action part when trying to install it. The kit received has a 3/4-inch bolt action part and would not fit in the trainer that has a 1-inch diameter non bolt action slider. I sent the part back for a refund.

This adapter fits a Liv bike on the Saris Fluid 2 trainer.

This adapter does exactly what I wanted: allow me to ride my Specialized Roubaix 11 speed bike on an older model of trainer, specifically the Cycle Ops Power Pro Series trainer. It was a little fussy to install the axle adapter in the bike (detailed instructions or a YouTube video would be appreciated) but in a few minutes I was able to figure it out. The trick is to center the assembly correctly. Here’s some detailed instructions: 0. REAR WHEEL: Unscrew your original bike axle and save it. 1. 142mm THROUGH AXLE KIT: Remove both axle caps from adapter with a 5mm hex key. 2. Remove all spacers and save them. You should now have a bare axle. 3. Insert bare axle (fine threads first) into non-freewheel side of hub. 4. From non-freewheel side, a 5mm hex key fits into the axle. Use it to screw axle in until it protrudes evenly on both sides of hub/dropouts. I used a caliper but you can do it by eye, it just needs to be close. 5. Install three 2mm spacers on the freewheel side and secure with axle cap. 6. Install one 5mm spacer and axle cap on the opposite side of hub. Done. I hope that makes sense. Tip: after mounting in your trainer, take care the first time you put your full weight on the bike + trainer - my axle adapter ‘snapped’ into place sharply! Why? It had not been correctly seated in the trainer receptacles. It looked fine, but somehow was not quite perfect. No harm done! It has been trouble free and secure since.

Very no-hassle install. Threads integrated easily. Locking down the bike in the Fluid 2 results in a super-stable platform for training.
