Q: How much space (in inches) is there from the floor to the bottom of the keyboard shelf? I have a chair that has arm rests that are 26.5" tall, and I'm wondering if my chair could fit under the desk.

Q: I am 6feet tall is this desk tall enough for me to work on without any problems?

A: I am 5'4" and it is perfect for me. I have an adjustable chair. I have had this desk for over a year and it is in the same condition as it was when I received it. My grandchildren use it all the time. I am not sure about 6'. If your leg from the knee to the bottom of your foot is 24.5" or less, there should not be a problem Good luck. This desk is very functional.

I bought this desk when I was in college back in 1990. It was pretty cheap back then so it fit my budget. I figured it would last me a few years, and when I was done with school and was working I would buy a better, more sturdy desk. Well, I did buy a new desk, (which was three times the price and lasted me only about 5 years) but I never got rid of this one. I married and had a couple kids, who used it until they went off to college. It has moved five times, endured spills and tantrums, and is still perfectly usable. It is banged up, with the veneer worn away at the edges and on the desktop surface, but it is sturdy and works great in my home office. I would give it more than 5 stars if I could. This little desk is a dependable workhorse.

This was a beautiful desk after I put it together. Unfortunately it came damaged, wood was chipped in multiple places, it’s very, very, very, and I mean very cheap. I’ve literally sat at this desk 3 times only, and the paint is completely peeling off everywhere! I have to keep tightening it everywhere, as it keeps coming loose.

Very poorly made. Assembled it to use as a new office desk. The one side that does not have shelving is very flimsy. It bowed and the pull out drawer for the keyboard fell down. I bought this on sale and still thought it was a waste of money.
