A: The shelf under the Sauder desktop is not a structural piece. However, there will be visible holes in the modesty panel where the shelf is attached. The keyboard is removable.

Very nice desk! Looks and feels sturdy. Only downside...came in TWO boxes and took a very long time to put together. Previous reviews mentioned it took a couple of hours, but took us much longer. Very sturdy and looks awesome

We remodeled my husbands office and I bought this fabulous desk. It is amazing and a quality desk for the price. It is a great addition to the office and my husband loves it. We put it together in a few hours but that was the hardest thing. The instructions were clear and precise.

I love, love, love my computer desk. It is large and fits everything my husband has for his computer needs. I loved the salt oak so much that I ended up buying a headboard and night stand to match. Arrived quickly and was not too difficult to assemble. I would recommend this to anyone.

LOVE this desk and the Salt Oak color! It arrived on time and in perfect condition. There are lots of parts but just lay them out ahead of time and it went so smoothly. Instructions were spot on , no questions or concerns. I love love love this desk!

Pictures don't do this product justice. My husband assembled virtually alone in a little over two hours. I did have to help when it was time to stand the desk up. Desk feels very heavy and of high quality and was worth the purchase price. A perfect addition to our home office.

This is a great desk! I am an experienced cabinet maker, and it took me a while to put together. You have to take your time so you don't mess up. There are no extra parts that come with it. I would suggest they include an extra bag of parts, just in case one goes bad during assembly. It's particle board, so you have to be careful with it. Does what I need it to do, and looks real good! Will have to disassemble when I move evacuee it's too big and heavy to move around. Would recommend this desk to anyone.
