Excellent strong paper for smaller drawings - pencil, coloroed pencil, pen and ink, even tempera or acrylic paint.

I've been using this paper for years, I like the absorption, the bite, the weight. It holds up to charcoal as well as paints. Not good for watercolors.

This paper can stand up to any medium. I use this for oil pastel and watercolor resists and it performs amazingly. The paper does not disintegrate and has very little buckling. Students can erase without marring the surface. I used it for sketchbooks as well this year so that my students can use paint in them. Marker does not bleed through to the other side like a thinner paper would. Great versatile paper for the price.

This paper used to be great for all media but the quality has changed. It won't accept watercolor like it used to.

I wouldn't use any other paper for drawing with all media and pen and ink.
