beaded hair tie hater - 4 months ago
this hair tie got stuck in my hair and caused my hair to be matted. my sister had to spend a long time detangling my hair. (as i write this review she is still in the process of detangling and it’s been 30 minutes) i highly do not recommend this product especially for someone with curly hair like mine. i only put two hair ties in a half up half down bun and then took it out 1 minute later trying to redo it. this product caused a unwanted headache and mess. my hair got stuck around the head and we had to cut out the hair tie. 1 star. see photos below.

Broke as soon as I used it. I barely stretched it. The bead just has glue on the inside holding the 2 sides of the elastic together.

I received product reimbursement in exchange for my honest review. I have thick hair that I often toss up into a messy bun. I really like these hair ties because they keep my hair up! With regular elastics, my hair sometimes starts loosening throughout the dye. The bumpy texture gives the elastic extra support to keep my hair bun from drooping. The only drawback is, like with regular hair ties, after a few uses they get stretched out and don't hold as tight. With only 8 in a package, I don't use these everyday, but when I want to make sure my hair stays up securely, they work fantastically!

These are good and don't damage your hair. Scunci is also affordably priced, so I like that. You get 8 in this pack with neutrals and 2 black ones.

I received product reimbursement in exchange for my honest review. After using this product, I am not the biggest fan of them. I appreciate that there's no damage to your hair and I definitely agree that there is not however I've noticed after using the elastic for quite some time. It tends to stretch out and it is very hard to get back into its original shape. Although I do find this with many elastics, so it is not out of the ordinary. I will use this in the future simply because it does not damage my hair, but it does not my favorite product.

These work great if your hair is thick. No more saggy ponytails! They hold up for weeks. They don’t snap or get stretched out like the thin ones. I totally recommend them!
