Not overly stretchy. This can be both a plus and a minus depending on your hair thickness. Holds hair pretty well without pulling too much. Can be an issue with slipping off a bit while not being able to be pulled tight enough for one of us while the other one doesn’t have this issue.

I received product reimbursement in exchange for my honest review. These hair ties are sturdy, they won't break after the third twist. I like that there isn't anything on the hair tie for your hair to get caught on. You can't really wear these on your wrists. My daughter like the color choices.
