Schumacher Manual 12 V 150 amps Battery Charger/Engine Starter

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have everything from riding lawn mowers to jet skis and boats so it was important to us to have a battery charger that would work on a variety of types including marine/deep cycle batteries. The battery charger is easy to use and the instructions are simple and easy to follow for any first time user. We've owned several and this one is pretty standard and has some nice features like the timer and boost/engine start. Size-wise it's fairly compact with built-in storage on the back for the clamps and cord. My only complaint would be the handle height. I wish it had a taller or adjustable handle length. It rolls easily but even at 5'8" I'm bending down awkwardly to roll it down a grassy hill to get to our dock. My Dad is 6'3" and it looks like a child's toy with him trying to wheel it around. For occasional use it shouldn't be an issue though, especially since I assume most people are buying for home use and planning to use it in their garage or driveway.

I've used it on my car since the battery die and it started right away I love that it's on wheels and very easy to move around, it has great features is nice to have this unit around and use it when you need it. It kinda looks and feels like a Suitcase and some what heavy, but it does the job.

My car battery died and I hooked this right up to it and it fired right up. It rolls around easily. It stows away nicely and doesn't take up too much room. My husband will use this many times I'm sure. He said the amps and voltage are of high quality that this will charge up some dead batteries. I will be taking this along with us when we travel. Definitely recommend.

I wish it was portable so I could have it if I had a dead battery away from a power source. It jumps the battery quickly and it’s very reliable. I’ve only had to use it once. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have another Schumacher jumper that I keep in my truck. It has worked well. This was a bit overkill but I purchased this for my golf cart and 4 wheeler. Each gets used a lot in one season and hardly at all in the other. This is much easier than trying to move a dead golf cart/4 wheeler near my truck to jump it off. Works great.

Feels about like a suitcase. It is heavy-duty and will come in handy for jump-starting cars, and we are especially looking forward to using it for charging the battery in our pop-up camper when we camp somewhere without electricity. It's also really nice that it comes with a 2-year warranty.
