I bought this because it not as toxic as other hair dyes, but as many other people saif: IS DARK! I got the chocolate and it looks close to black. I hope other reviews that said the color fades after the first wash is true. It doesn't smell as bad as other products, that's a plus.

I liked how this formula didn’t have a strong smell, how it didn’t damage my hair, and how it felt after the dying process. However, I give this product 3 stars because of the color. I don’t know if it’s just me but I didn’t expect it to be so dark and I’m a bit upset. I expected a lighter sort of medium brown with a red tint. Yet this left my hair dark brown, almost black. It only looks good in the sun, I’ll give ya that. For context, my hair was medium brown (with a orange kind of blonde tint) before I dyed it with this. I would reccomend this product if you want something darker for sure.

Love!! Love!! Love!! I am severely allergic to PPD & PTD and not many hair dyes on the market are free of both. I can now dye my hair without stressing being in ER/ICU for 3-4 days or on Prednisone for a few days. The shade is immense coverage. No more greys! And NO more semi permanent dyes needed, they really don't give 100% grey coverage. This is a life changer! Forever loyal. Feeling like 21 again ❤️💯👌

I rarely leave reviews but I am really disappointed with this product. I dyed my hair black a day ago and thankfully my hair is dark brown so it’s not too noticeable but in the light I see lots of uneven coverage and it looks like it has already started to fade.

Other products were no working well, not enough color and fading rapidly. I saw positive comments regarding Schwarzkopf so decided to give it a try. I used the Cool Brown, and it appears to have little to no red or brassiness although I just used it so time will tell. My main issue is that it is very dark, and I had hoped for a medium brown. Of course, it will fade, and I am hoping after two or three shampoos it will be a better color. What I am going to be looking at is how quickly it fades. Also, at this point in the process it looks like good coverage of the gray in my hair. How this product performs overall will influence my rating and because I haven't had enough time to gauge the performance, I can only give 3 stars.

This stuff is horrible. Don't use it. I now have red hair where my grey hair was, and dark hair everywhere else. It look ridiculous, And I can't color it for two weeks so I have to walk around looking like Little Orphan Annie but only the top inch and a half. If I had money I would get a lawyer and sue this stuff is so useless. It also has a really weird odor to it. I have been coloring my hair for 30 years, I consider myself an expert. I only do it 3 times a year if even, and this stuff is the worst stuff I have ever used. I have no issue coloring my hair. I don't have sensitive skin but this stuff is burning, even after I washed my hair 3 times trying to tone down the red.

The worst hair color I’ve ever used. I have Rheumatoid Arthritis in my hands and it was impossible for me to pierce the color tube and once pierced, squeezing the tube into the bottle took me 20 minutes. I couldn’t open the tube of conditioner and just gave up. Left color in for 45 minutes yet the roots were very light and I’ll have to do it again with Clairol Root Touch up in a couple of days. Have tried nearly every hair color but this has to be the worst.

I love the look of the Chocolate Cherry I mixed in with the Dark Chocolate to create my custom Double Chocolate look. It’s just what I wanted.
