Great bike for riding on sidewalks. I usually rode mountain bikes on sidewalks but this bike is way faster on cement and feels way lighter. Easier way to switch gears and handle bars feel great. Taking off one star only due to the seat. The seats alright.

Purchased bike on 6/29/24 and two and a half months later I was told the bearings needed to be replaced and it was not covered by any warranty. I returned bike to Target store on 10/08 but Target would not process a return because it was 8 days after the 90 day return period. I left the bike at the store. Never buy a SchwaIn bicycle

I received this bike as a gift. I have owned it for three years. I ride it every day, through all weather. I stored the bike inside the first year and the last two years it's been outside in the elements. I aggressively ride this bike everyday through town jumping curbs and riding rough sidewalks and roads. I'm the first year I only had to replace the front crank bearings. I kept it maintained. But lately I have been slacking. It needs cleaned, and shifters need adjusting, but this bike is easy to work on. The manual is helpful with troubleshooting. I've wrecked this bike probably a dozen times and it still rolls fast and straight. I absolutely love this bike, it gets me where I need to go.

Too expensive for a cheap bike. Bought it only to realize the gear shift is broken and Target refused to return it. Go to a bike shop and get a decent bike for much cheaper!

Just purchased, it's a Christmas present for myself. I took it for a test ride. Target assembled it perfectly and it's appearance is nice. Beautiful paint job by Schwinn. I'm very happy with this hybrid, the breaks and gears are above average. Just like my Schwinn Varsity, it's still a high quality, classic brand that I highly recommend.

THIS bike is a really good bike for those moving up in quality Quality is the same as the lower end TRECK bike but $300 less. YOU will probabley need to get a tuneup to make it really good.

You’re paying for the name, not quality. Pick better. After buying two separate bikes, one for men and one for women, they both came with problems that should’ve been acknowledged during quality control. An absolute mess. And don’t count on customer support.

After a year with my Schwinn MTN bike, it was time to upgrade and I was very interested in hybrid bicycles. I previously purchased my Schwinn MTN bike at Target and wanted to purchase again through Target so I kept an eye out to see what was available online & in store. After more research and reading reviews, I decided on the Schwinn Circuit Hybrid bicycle. I ordered through the Target app then picked up in our SUV that evening. Before taking the tags off and riding it, I took it directly to a local bicycle shop to have them do a complete and through inspection to make sure the bicycle was correctly assembled including the gears, disc brakes, chain, alignment, etc. so I could have total peace of mind that once I took that first ride, I knew it was 100% good to go. The local bike shop ended up making some minor adjustments and it also had them add slime to the tire tubes. I have been riding almost daily around my neighborhood for several weeks now and I absolutely love it! Excellent value for what I paid for and if you take care of it with routine maintenance, it will last and continue with high performance. Thanks Schwinn and Target!

Nice Disk Brakes

This is/was going to be my errand bike, you know, one you could lock up and not worry too much about. I thought about going for the cheapest, but I also wanted to have an enjoyable ride. First the good parts! The brakes as mentioned in the headline are good for the price point and work solidly. It is also nice to have a kickstand. Shimano levers but non-branded calipers. Shifters and derailers are also Shimano. Other niceties are the mounting points for fenders and/or rack, one bolt adjustable seat angle (though I prefer the 2 bolt micro adjustable type) and very wide tire clearance should you want to go with that route. Some gorrilla must have tightened the quick releases though, for I needed a wrench to loosen them! Now, however, after a 30 minute ride I am thinking of returning the bike. There is a distinct, noticible clunk coming from the drive train. After some troubleshooting, I traced the problem to an wobbly no name freewheel (this is the reason for my value rating, skimping on the parts that no one checks). I have never experienced such a problem in many, many years of cycling. I am going to contact the support line and see what they can do. Even if it is replaced, wonder how long it will last? I may also experiment with this bike to see if a nice drivetrain will improve pedalling efficiency which I feel is lacking. Feels like my other bike with twice as wide tires is faster!
