Perfect size for tall, skinny 9 year old. Easy to adjust. He loves it!

Good solid bike, I appreciate that the middle bar is a little lower on the boys bike. Not sure why boys bikes have the higher middle bar, but for kids that are just starting to bike or learning to bike, a lowered middle frame bar is preferred so that they can easily stand and balance. Another feature that is good for beginner bikers is handbrakes instead of the pedal brakes. This bike has it all at a great price.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First, let me say that this is a really nice bike. I got this for 7 yr old who is probably average height. It feels really safe and sturdy. It looks to be really good quality as well. What I didn’t like about it was that the instructions did not really help with what needed to be put together what I mean is that the book covered the basics of putting the bike together, but it didn’t tell you anything about the important parts-like the brakes. I had to go online and watch videos to find out even how to put the tire on because the brakes were already installed and completely in the way. More than one time some pieces flew off so that was concerning, and then there was a piece that the book doesn’t even tell you where it goes or how to install it. I could guess where I thought it went because it was more Cosmetic and not necessarily anything that would affect how you used to bike. Altogether it probably took me an hour to put the bike together, but because I had to look up things that weren’t in the book it took me around 2 1/2 hours. I’m pretty sure that they handlebars are backwards and one of the brakes doesn’t work. It is safe to ride and it is really pretty.

My sons 1st big boy bike without training wheels, and he LOVES IT!!! the seat is perfect for him it's comfortable and perfect height. The assembly was SO EASY. I think the only issue we had running into it was the brakes they didn't seem tight enough when in use. But my handy husband was able to figure it out. It has front brakes, rear brakes, and brakes when reversed. With so many safety brakes, my son feels confident and not scared.
