Scosche MagSafe Compatible MagicMount Pro 2 Magnetic Mount 4-In-1 Vent/Dash - Black

Only mount that stayed during the Texas heat. I’ve tried so many different ones and they all tend to fall off when it gets too hot but this one didn’t. I have it on my windshield if that makes a difference, haven’t tried on the dash.

Lost sticky-ness not long after buy. Other attachment didn’t work either. Disappointed

It won’t hold to the dash in my vehicle even after I cleaned the surface correctly, placed correctly I let it sit for 24 hours as per instructions, while I was driving out of town it fell along with my phone attached.

Seriously!?? I bought this thinking the design would be great but wine setting it up, I realized there's no plug!... it doesn't charge! Considering there are tons of similar magsafe holders, this is considered quite clunky & bulky being that there's no wireless charger. I thought for sure it'd have wireless charging at that price. I bought a super thin massage wireless charger with adjustable positions for under $50 and I love it!! Returned this useless piece of plastic

The vent clip for this mount is made horribly. The first one I bough broke, so I exchanged it for another one and the same thing happened. The silicon that covers the metal prongs of the vent mount slips off causing the whole mount to fall.

The mount is nice but I’ve tried it in my car but it keeps falling off, I feel like the material doesn’t stay well with the air vent and just slips right off when phone is mounted

This magnetic mount is working well so far with my iPhone 12 Pro Max in a Quad Lock MAG case. I really like that the swing-arm gives you a lot of flexibility in the positioning of your phone, especially since I'm using the vent mount. With my previous vent-mounted holder (no swing arm), my phone would constantly bump into the gearshift because it was set too low. The vent mount itself seems fairly secure and hasn't shown any signs of loosening. The only concern I have is that the magnet could be a little bit stronger. My phone hasn't fallen off so far, at least. Overall, I'm pretty happy with this phone mount.

I bought this becuase of my new phone, it looked like it had great versatility and sadly it does not. The magnet would not hold my phone up, and the adhesive was not strong enough to stay on my dashboard.

In a little less than 4 months the adhesive is pulling away from the smooth surface of the dash where this was attached.

Like: I love how easy this is! Make sure you 100% are certain about placement before mounting. I had to move it a second time due to my truck’s gear stick hitting the phone once I placed it. Dislike: I’m not sure if the price is right. I feel like I paid the same for a different one that had a charger and was automatic. I did put both magnets in between my phone and case because I wanted to be sure it doesn’t fall off. My phone case isn’t magsafe but with the magnets provided it works great!!!!

Magnets were nice and strong. MagSafe for iPhone 12 and newer worked beautifully. Had to return because of the way the dashboard and vents are in very old car but I wish I could’ve kept it

This is one of those "things I never knew I was missing but now can't live without." For years, I've driven with my phone under my leg as I drove, trying to stay hands free, but inevitably failing at that. This phone mount is a game changer and I suddenly feel like my driving is ten times safer because my phone's in view and out of my lap. I got a new iPhone 13 mini for Christmas, and this thing'sMagSafe compatibility is phenomenal for it. Granted, as advertised, the magsafe magnet will not work (great) without the right phone case. But, it actually will work, just not great. There are solutions for this however, within the box, to make it GREAT. Option 1: just take off your phone case to use the mount or get yourself a "magsafe" phone case. Option 2: put the metal sticky plate included here directly onto your phone, and then replace your case. The magnet is so strong, it works through most covers I imagine, including my Pela case. Option 3: adhere the low profile metal plate onto the outside of your phone case. The magnet sticks like glue to the mount. For non-iphone users, there are universal compatibility options. The magnet worked great for my husband's Google phone for instance. As for mounting, there are options there too. There's a cool sturdy rubber vent holder, or you can adhere via adjustable clip or adhere w the adhesive sticker. I love all the options this mount has. It's not a one way street only, which makes it super compatible to any phone or car situation. I don't have anything to compare this mount to, as it's my first ever, but it seems like it will also be my last with this awesome magnet tech and so many options to work in any car I may be driving.

This mount was a little hard for me to put together in my car even with the instructions. I chose to place it in my air vent. The fit was okay. The magnetic part does not work with a case which is disappointing because I need a case on my phone to protect it from damage. I will most likely regift this to someone who doesn’t use a phone case.

The MagicMount would have been a great product. Unfortunately I followed the instructions provided which was not helpful for my device. The company said to place the big magnet on the bottom of the device. I had questioned it because of the gravity pull that would happen. I decided to continue with the company's instructions. My device just kept falling down. It would not hold my device as stated. So I decided to pull off the magnet which in return made the magnet less adhesive. I placed it in the middle of my device and it worked better. All though now every time I move my device off of the mount. It rips off the magnet. I do not like the size of the vent clip. It made it very awkward to place in the vent. The instructions are one of the main key elements when purchasing an item. I think the company needs to revise there instructions so no one else runs into this issue. The company did package the mount nicely. I did like the option of the extension mount provided and dash attachment. I would only recommend this product if the instructions are revised.

I am excited to have this powerful magnetic mounting system to use my smartphone. The mounting system does not block the air from the vent. The material appeared to be of excellent quality. Looks great in my car. Easier for me to rotate and move my phone while using it. I can remove the mount when I am not using it. The magnet included in the package is strong enough to hold my phone with the slightly heavy case. I highly recommend this product.

I have been looking for a nice mount ever since my husband let me borrow his a few months ago for a road trip. This one is amazing! For one, the packaging is high quality so if you're planning to gift this, the quality shows right off the bat. Assembly and installation were a breeze. I chose to install it on my vent rather than adhesive on my dashboard and I like the placement in my Equinox. I elected to use the telescoping arm attachment so I can adjust but I'll probably remove that because I don't find it necessary and the additional weight makes my vents slide. The magnet is super strong though and my phone has not slipped or fallen once. Further the grip on the vent is really strong once you get it on. I really like that it comes with two metal plates, two mounting options, and the arm attachment too. All in all, this is a great value and a really practical item.

This item is made of high quality! It sticks and adheres well and feels very nice and sturdy. I am glad that I was able to gift this item as it’s perfect for the person who travels a lot and cannot hold on to their phone or for anyone who enjoys podcast. This is an awesome product indeed! I very much recommend this!

Very easy to use and comes with good instructions! I have an iPhone 10 and it is semi-magnetic so it stuck, but for sure it stuck with the iPhone 13. The only thing that I don’t like is that it doesn’t clip onto my vent. I’ve tried clipping it and it won’t stay. I’m going to have to use the sticky piece that comes with it.

I got this Scosche MagicMount Pro Magnetic Mount to try out and it works okay. The vent clips didn't hold the mount very well with the phone attached, it fell off a few times while driving. We ended up having to attach the other way. The magnet works well unless you're on a bumpy road, then it bumps your phone off.

Works really well. Sticks easily and can move easily as well. I really prefer it over my current one. The color also matches so I was pretty happy with that coincidence. I approve of the product and recommend it to others.
