I honestly thought that all mattresses for babies/toddlers were about the same. It's been a few years since we purchased the first one, but I don't remember seeing an option like this mattress. I have sat and laid down on both our old one and this new one and there are major differences! Compared to the old mattress, this one is MUCH more comfortable! The fabric is soft and really nice, yet still waterproof. The old mattress felt like plastic and was very noisy. This new mattress has a really nice firmness to it and can be used for babies and toddlers depending on what side you use. Love that this mattress is also Greenguard Gold Certified!! We are always looking for products that are safer for our family and better for the environment. Time will tell how this holds up to our toddler, but we have been using and loving it for the past month. I would definitely recommend it!!

The all natural materials is a very appealing feature since your child’s face is on it for hours. We tried to use it with our crib sheets but they did not fit well. They were a bit too snug. Our toddler thought it was too hard and uncomfortable. I rested on it to watch television and it was perfect for me!! I know child should be on a firm mattress but I think this one was just a bit too firm for our child.

It is a very lightweight mattress and was made from renewable soybean oils and it a very firm mattress. We like that the product is made from American farmers which grew soybeans to make it. It has a waterproof barrier, square corners for the pretty fit! It has the perfect cotton fabric cover.

The package came very quickly and there were no outrageous scents when first opening. We did notice that the mattress seams a little squeaky, but that could change when it is "broken in".

I love this mattress but after a year it has started to shrink so now there is over an inch gap between the mattress and crib rails. I don’t feel safe using it for my child due this spring.

Why would you make a crib mattress out of a Top 8 Allergen? What if the baby has an undiagnosed allergy to soy and goes into anaphylactic shock from exposure to this mattress? Horrible mattress.

After 5 months of use, it went downhill in the middle. So pretty much infant was sleeping in the hole which i didnt like and for their back is very not safe as they are growing and till at least 3 years of age they need FIRM mattress for their little bones. So i was not too happy about this,,,, BUT what i DO love about Target is that, Because this was on my BABY REGISTRY I am able to return stuff from it up to a Year of purchase as long as its on my Baby Register, So i did exchange it! But dont recommend this mattress, its pretty much same quality as the one i Bought for $64.99.

My son is 13 months and on the heavier side and his old mattress looked and sounded so uncomfortable. We bought this one for him and you can see the difference! He sleeps much better. It is nice and firm for a newborn but it feels very soft as well. Perfect mattress! Will buy another one for my newborn. Only thing is I had to put a mattress pad on ours because it was getting wet and stained. It didn't look very "waterproof"! Not a huge deal for the comfort.

I bought this matress for my baby girl after did all the research and read all the review but after 3 months using it the matress isn't firm anymore my baby 4 months now she starting turn and crawling but she couldn't turn because the matress got downhill in the middle. I mean the soy foam was great but I think it wasn't firm that I expected after read all the review.

We purchased this mattress for our first child, born in January 2012. I am very happy with it. It didn't smell terrible when it arrived...I've read that some mattresses do. It is lightweight, making sheet changes easier. It's quite firm, but our daughter sleeps comfortably on it. It is very snug in our crib, which gives me peace of mind that she's not going to get a hand or foot trapped between the mattress and crib. A great choice, would buy buy again!

I bought this mattress just over 2 years ago and my son seems to really love it! We still use it on the firm crib side and he is perfectly content. He has started to jump on it, and he gets some height! We are so happy with this mattress that we are going to buy one for baby #2 even thought the price has gone up quite a bit!
