What you've described may be a rare stain that occurs on a small number of fabric that has been dyed with a few specific dyes. The fabric may look bleached as it may have a color change or has lightened but it's actually a removable stain. This is a result of color shift due to the pH sensitivity of a particular dye on the fabric. Color shift can happen with any clear gel product on the market. To prevent this from happening in the future, be sure to apply a thin, even layer of antiperspirant/deodorant. Rub the product in and allow it to dry before getting dressed.
